Everything you need for a great vacation

5 of 5
The house and setting was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids who like to explore. A beautiful, quiet setting within 5 minutes of 1 beach and 20 minutes of other beaches as well as plenty of options for restaurants, surfing, yoga, river kayaking, etc. The hilltop house has refreshing breezes and you could enjoy them throughout the house, it has a lovely open concept with large sliders that really make you feel like you are a part of the landscape and beauty of the surroundings. The kitchen is well equiped and the surround system and technology was available and in great working condition. The pool is well maintained and refreshing after a hot day. Ample shade and seating by the pool gave options for everyone to enjoy. So whether you enjoy relaxing or exploring the region, this home can accommodate both types of travelers. The owner and property manager were helpful and prompt with any questions we had. We do recommend having a 4x4 vehicle since the roads are dirt and quite rough around this area.

A comfortable stay in a modern and clean house.

5 of 5
I had a wonderful stay with a helpful landlord. Gildas spent time on my arrival to introduce me to the house features and to the best route to the beach for those amazing Playa Guiones "primordial" sunsets with the pelicans swirling and diving into the waters for their last fish meal. The house was solid construction and modern design as advertised. A wonderful, open cooks kitchen with extras like some additional spices and enough space to roller-skate if I desired! Blender and other small appliances were top notch. A cook's convection oven. No reason to dine out if you like to cook -- the very closeby Nosara "super-mercado" stocks all your needs including a butcher and fresh vegetables and wines and liquors. A refreshing and clean plunge pool, indoor and outdoor living rooms, nice modern design baths (plenty o hot water). The outdoor large round sofa/chaise was a pleasure to read and nap on. The garden was well tended and added a nice touch of green during the winter dry season. The supplied stereo amp (with sub-woofer) fit well with my Pandora app (internet radio) so I could listen to my favorite Jazz while reading or eating. Gildas realized that I was alone as my companion had to stay back home. He offered and stopped by one evening and proved that he is also a good French cook (heavenly baked fresh fish catch in a moist, rendered sauce). While you may not get this optional treat; I was overwhelmed by such a generous offer and felt lucky.

Loved the pool the staff & Playa Guiones

5 of 5
In the office Arturo and Alejandro were fantastic. They were great about me bugging them to use the phone and all the other requests and inquiries that I made. Having a concierge service with a weekly rental is a brilliant concept. I rented a bicycle, bought t-shirts, got advice, received messages and booked an excursion. Next, Graiben has a great personality and I talked to him often at the pool house or on the grounds (which were immaculate even when the 60 mph gusts of offshores winds blew). I used the pool every time after surf to relax and also at night with the Wi-Fi listening to the frogs, birds and lizards. Jenny helped me with the microwave, turned the Corvina Javier caught into Ceviche for me and also washed my whites. She was great. I then spent some time with Eduardo, since he had to make it through every night without sleeping. I get my best spanish lessons from Security Guards but with Eduardo, one of the tres hermanos (Javier, Graiben and Eduardo), I also learned about Nosara and Guanacaste and Costa Rica and about living there for an entire lifetime. Finally, Javier was a class act. He has the whole place running like clockwork and even when you were full, it still seemed like I was in my own personal biological reserve with AC and a pool. I went fishing at the rivermouth with Javier and that was a treat. He knows everyone and everyone gives him total respect. In the surf, he got two Corvinas and a big Jack (see picture). He let me keep the Corvina as I mentioned and it was so good for two days with crackers and hot sauce and tomato sauce. The area is beautiful and there is so much to do. Of Course, I surfed everyday, at least twice a day but I also got to go Stand up paddle boarding in the river and the mangroves. Thanks so much for everything. I hope to return with my son. He has got to experience it.
