          Surfer's paradise

          5 of 5
This was an absolutely gorgeous rental in our favourite part of Costa Rica. It was very well equipped with all the needed amenities, extremely spacious and comfortable. A beautiful breeze blows off the ocean at night that makes for an awesome sleep. The giant porch is perfect for enjoying a tasty mug of Costa Rican coffee in the morning, or happy hour and sunset in the evening. The kitchen is large and well equipped, and some of our favourite evenings were spent preparing and cooking fresh fish and local produce all bought steps away from the condo. There are also 4 fabulous restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance of the condo, including a wood oven fired pizza restaurant across the road. A stone's throw up the road, you'll find the best home made gelato and espresso bar run by a friendly Italian family, but beware- the gelato is extremely addictive! The pool is well maintained, and the covered area by the pool is a perfect spot to escape from the midday heat to read a book in one of the hammocks. It's a great spot to watch the Howler monkeys as well that can usually be found snacking on the mangoes hanging from the trees beside the pool area. The condo is steps away from beautiful Pelada beach, which is a long, quiet, peaceful beach where the most picturesque sunsets we've ever witnessed can be watched from. Guiones is another huge beach that is a 10 minute walk from the condo, and this beach has consistent lefts and rights every day of the year. It is a sand break with peak after peak of awesome waves for all skill levels. The kids can be catching nice learner waves on the inside while you're out on overhead breakers on the outside. It's a dream beach. We were there in march and the waves were awesome every day, then in April we saw the local surf report and pictures, and waves were up into well over double-overhead range with some nice barrels. We'd love to get back down in the summer as the waves are bigger. Nosara is only a 10 min. walk and has everything you need from rental cars, groceries, espresso bars, Yoga studios, amazing restaurants, surf shops with tons of variety for rentals, bakery with the best fresh bread and pastries daily and lots of Eco-tours and expedition companies. The whole area just has a great laid back vibe. We've travelled all over Central America and this is number one on our list to get back to. Dave was awesome, and made sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to get back down there again!!!
