UNFORGETTABLE!

5 of 5
My family (Wife, two girls, age 13 and 15) stayed in Casa Pura Vista for two weeks and had the time of our lives. All of the reviews below mention the architecture and for good reason. While my two girls may not have understood just how unique it was, even they could appreciate the outdoor living room. The whole house is just plain gorgeous. We saw scarlet macaws while eating lunch and monkeys down by the beach, which is only a 10 min drive away. Renzo cooked us dinner almost every night, and even convinced my stubborn teenage daughters to eat fish! They even love it now. Kimberly, our concierge, set up all of our adventures and made sure they would bring a smile to my daughters' face. My wife and I were in heaven, seeing the joy this place brought our kids and enjoying every moment just as much as they did. This place is great for all sorts of groups, too. The possibilities here could meet nearly anyone's needs. Thanks so much for a great stay, Tulemar! We will be back soon!

Awesome!

5 of 5
When we checked in to our unit we were amazed at the views, the size of the unit (1700 sq feet), and the quality of the unit. everything looked just like the pictures only better! Every night and every morning we sat on one of the three decks and watched the ocean. We really enjoyed going to the beaches nearby but we also loved the pool. The condo had everything you would need in the kitchen, 2 and 1/2 bathrooms, and laundry facilities! The staff at Shana were all extremely nice and friendly. We loved Manuel Antonia. We would definitely go back there in a heartbeat and we would definitely stay at this same unit again. Jonathon (the concierge) was incredibly helpful. We did not want to leave!!

No Place Better!

5 of 5
For my 60th bday I wanted a trip with my children. Seven of us stayed in this magnificent house with spectacular views. All the bedrooms had a view of the ocean. We spent most of our time gathered around the spacious kitchen which opened into a huge family room with a view of gorgeous foliage and the ocean. Mornings were spent on the deck with coffee and often shared with the monkeys, the resident sloth, iguana and a pair of toucans. We spent a couple of afternoons around the beautiful pool. What made this house the best, besides the great layout and tasteful decor, was the staff. Sani, our concierge, was wonderful even before we arrived. He communicated with us by email, answered all our questions, arranged pick up at the airport and tours and excursions. We only had 4 days, but they were the best 4 days we could have ever imagined! Edwin, our driver, was waiting for us at the airport. On our way home he stopped at a fruit stand where the vendors cut fresh fruit for us to taste. Next he stopped at a bridge where we got out and looked down at huge crocodiles! Sani was waiting outside for us. When he opened the door, we all gasped! Not only was this house breathtaking, but the smells from Lily and Rachel's cooking were amazing. After a long day of travel, it was such a treat to have appetizers waiting for us and a dinner that was better than any restaurant we had ever been to. The best part was that we felt like we had walked into a friend's home. Sani, Lily and Rachel were so warm and friendly and made us feel as though they knew us. In the morning we met Juan who comes every day to maintain the pool and the grounds. He always had a smile on his face and pointed out animals to us! Hailen was our housekeeper who kept the place neat and clean. We hardly knew she was there but we'd go looking for her just to say hello! She was sweet and pleasant and even washed our clothes! Casa Alegria is in a great location. We toured a national park with lots of wildlife and a beautiful beach. We went "Canyoning". We walked to the beach and stayed to see the spectacular sunset. The last day, Sani treated us to his own private tour where we hiked to his favorite waterfall and swam in "the pot" and had lunch at a local restaurant that served fresh tilapia caught on site. We ended the trip with another of Lily's fabulous meals. None of us wanted to leave. It was truly a trip of a lifetime.
