A Luxury Treehouse on the Beach

5 of 5
This house had the perfect combination of being so close to the beach we could touch our feet to the sand in under a minute and being clouded by enough jungle that we could escape to complete privacy whenever we wanted. From the infinity pool, we couldn’t see anything but ocean, sky, and trees. I learned that the only houses on the whole 30-acre property were owned by the same person who owns the Bali House, which made me feel very safe. A staff of six people worked at the house, cleaning the pool and the bedrooms and doing laundry. They were very friendly, even though I didn’t speak any Spanish, and they very much kept to themselves. The pool and air conditioning made the hot weather more than tolerable. It was really nice to sit on the deck at night when the air would cool just a bit and sip a glass of wine. The pool light reflected the stars in a gorgeous way that made me feel as though I were sitting at the edge of the universe. For dinner we could walk 15 minutes to get to local restaurants. I cannot stress how delicious chicken is in Costa Rica. I don’t know what they do differently there, but it is amazing. All in all, my Costa Rica vacation was a luxury and a dream. I can only hope I will be able to get another group together and stay at the Bali House again sometime soon.

Best way to experience Cost Rica!

5 of 5
The home is very comfortable and spacious. The views are incredible. From talking to others, I can tell you that this is the best way to experience Costa Rica - in a more secluded, private home. There are tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance, but you feel really close to nature and not other houses or hotels. (And the local grocery store delivers!) We saw all kinds of wildlife. Monkeys and sloths were our favorites. Can't say enough good things about the concierge and house staff. They went way above and beyond our expectations. Fishing and zip-lining were both great, but so were walking in the rain and watching the lightning storms from the top deck! We travelled with one other family and 3 teenagers. There was something for all of us and lots of special memories, too! Can't wait to go back.

Amazing Home. Literally took our breath away.

Just got back from a wonderful week long vacation in Costa Rica. Im so happy we chose to stay at Garden house and not a hotel. It really feels as though you actually live in this wonderful place rather than an uncomfortable hotel. Evenings were spent relaxing and watching the beautiful sunsets while every morning we awoke to the sounds of birds and monkeys. Everything we could every dream we would need was at the house, even games for when it rains. We even planned half our trip from the books and brochures that were provided with the house. I only wish I could be back watching the sunset while floating in the pool overlooking the ocean to bad real life is calling. When I go back to CR I will certainly stay at Garden House. PURA VIDA
