Wonderful, wonderful, and more wonderful

5 of 5
Villa Perezoso is the most beautiful vacation rental my family has stayed in! The Manuel Antonio area is full of activities and the staff is eager the set up amazing adventures for you and your family/friends. The property itself is beyond words! Very clean and well maintained. The pool/deck views are breathtaking. Randall, the house manager, is very helpful, attentive, and eager to please! He set up surfing, white water rafting, deep sea fishing, massages, atv tour, and hikes to waterfalls for my family and I! Ober, the chef, is a world trained chef that makes nothing short of five star quality restaurant meals! We had paella, sushi, BBQ, fish, salads, and mouth watering desserts all with local flare. My family and I have been twice and we fully intend to return next year! Do yourself a favor and if you are heading to Costa Rica stay at Villa Perezoso! You will not be disappointed!

VP made for my dream vacation and wedding!

5 of 5
Let me start off by saying that while the house is fabulous(it took our breath away when we first walked in during sunset), the staff was even more impressive. From the moment I inquired about the house, the staff were willing to answer all of my questions and settle any doubts. The team greatly assisted me as I planned my wedding from abroad. I had a once in a lifetime trip that my family and friends could not stop talking about. VP is like the perfect blend of jungle mansion that includes comforting amenities and also the feel, aesthetics and experiences of an authentic Costa Rican rainforest villa. My family was delighted with all of the encounters with nature. They especially loved the monkeys which came right up to the house, but never ventured too close for comfort either. Sabrina and the rest of the staff made it an easy and perfect choice to host my wedding reception at the house as well. On the day of my wedding, the gardener picked fresh banana palms and flowers for us to decorate with. Chef Carlos floored us with his buffet style dinner, and tasty appetizers and the concierges, Sabrina and Geralyn, offered last minute assistance with anything we might need. My family treasured all of the perfect sunsets from the house. Every night ended in the pool and it was so refreshing even after visits to the beach. Sabrina and Geralyn also ensured that all of my family's needs were met. We had several children stay at the house comfortably including a 2 year old, 3 year old, infant, 10 year old and 13 year old. Sabrina also worked her magic to retrieve a blow up mattress, 2 pack and plays, and a high chair to meet our needs. The house was cleaned everyday and the maids graciously spent extra time on our laundry. This house is located just a small and easy bus/cab ride to the beach. The house was also walking distance to several great restaurants such as Kapi Kapi. I had my rehearsal dinner there and we were so impressed! I would hands down recommend this villa to everyone visiting Manuel Antonio.

Paradise found in Costa Rica

5 of 5
The Villa was everything that was promised and more. Overall, our stay was amazing and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property. We are 47 and 50 and have done a decent amount of travelling and this was the best vacation of our lives. The property is exactly as pictured and the views of the Pacific Ocean and the sunsets every evening are beyond spectacular. The Infinty pool is what sets this property apart from the others. You have complete privacy and we spent 2-3 hours a day at or in the pool. We had coffee outside every morning on the covered veranda and enjoyed the view and wildlife, including birds, butterflies and a friendly monkey who visited a nearby tree. It is so nice outside that we even chose to stay home and enjoyed dinners we prepared 4 of the 8 evenings we were there. The kitchen is fully appointed and being health conscious types we went to the local farmers markets to get FRESH fruit, vegetables and seafood when we cooked. The bed is absolutely amazing. I have some back issues and was concerned but I slept like a baby the entire stay. The beaches nearby in Manuel Antonio are as good as advertised too. Soft sand, great surf for swimming and all kinds of water activities available for a fee (para-sailing, sea kayaking, surfing, etc.). There is even a beach you can drive onto and park which is more private. Brenda and I enjoyed a day hiking and enjoying Manuel Antonio National Park on our own and saw 15-20 monkeys in their natural habitat, sloths, numerous birds, raccoons, etc., etc. We want to thank Hazel (the Villa's concierge) for recommending some other great activities. We went zip lining at Mid World and did both the normal lines and Superman (worth the extra $40). On another day we went waterfall rappelling with Xtreme Tours. The waterfalls and pools to swim in were great and the drive up into the mountains and scenery at the park where you rappel is beautiful. Both were thrills that we will cherish for a lifetime. Both staff allow you to do whatever you want based upon your ability. I've gone many other places and it’s not even enjoyable because of all the ridiculous rules. Both of these are a must for any adrenaline junkies or couples looking for some fun. Finally, if you rent a car get a 4WD. It helps with driving up the steep driveway to the Villa and allows you to go explore. We drove down the coast to the smaller and more humble towns of Dominical and Uvita and had a great day. Restaurants were fantastic. Can't wait to go back. Thanks!!!
