amazing

5 of 5
We loved our stay at Shana. The owner David Spivey was prompt in his communication and Jonathan (the property manager) was very helpful in arranging transportation from the airport to the condo and meeting us upon arrival. He had ordered the groceries for us which were waiting upon arrival. The unit itself is fantastic as it is new with large rooms and comfortable bedding, a huge master bedroom and bathroom, just like a 5 star hotel. The pull out couch is a queen sized bed which is perfect for extra kids to share. The condo sits in the jungle so we watched monkeys and toucans and the ocean from our oversized balcony. The balcony also overlooks the pool which we also enjoyed as people watching can also be amusing. We did not rent a car and found arranging a taxi was very easy. We were only a few min cab ride to any of the local restaurants. We loved being part of the hotel complex as we enjoyed the happy hour pina coladas by the pool when we returned from our sightseeing in Manuel Antonio. We had arranged for a cleaning service which was phenomenal as they even did our laundry which was divine after the sandy days at the beach. I agree with a previous reviewer that the hotel restaurant is terrible and the food tasted awful and was extremely overpriced. But there are so many other amazing restaurants to go to so this isn't a big deal. We have already booked our return visit for this upcoming Christmas season as it was such a great holiday.

Excellent ocean view condo in Manuel Antonio!

5 of 5
We stayed in this georgeous 2 bedroom condo the first week of May! It was more than we hoped for - very spacious, perfect pool that was shared but we almost always had to ourselves, excellent views and lots of monkeys visiting us! We had three adults and 1 child, this place was excellent. The kitchen is well stocked and the balconies are outstanding. The location is very close to many restaurants for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and a longer walk away from the grocery store. You can walk to the beach but might prefer to drive as it is steep walk back. Laurent was a great host. Daily maid service was included and laundry, too. We'd love to go back!

wonderful views

To believe that 13 people could co-habitate for 8 days was too much to hope for. Thanks to this beautiful location that became a reality. We had a great time with all the adventure tours and the magnificent pool to relax in when we returned.Although our grasp on the spanish language wasn't that good it really didn't matter. Thanks to Hector and his wife for helping when they could.Thank you Laurent for letting us enjoy your wonderful home.
