Perfect Private Getaway

5 of 5
My friend recommended this place to me, saying it was well worth the cost because you basically stay in a downtown abbey treehouse. Though there wasn't any fun british drama, there were six people on staff to make sure our stay was impeccable. The pool was gorgeous. Because it's an infinity pool, there were literally NO bugs floating on the water. Hard to believe in the middle of a rain forest! The bathrooms are amazing. Clean, gorgeous, with good water pressure in the showers. This place was truly beautiful. And we were right on the water. A minute's walk to the beach, if that. Though it's technically a public beach, there were maybe one or two other people for about a mile's radius. In the far distance we could see beach umbrellas, but it was basically our own private slice of ocean. It was awesome because we could see no other houses from our deck, but at the same time if we wanted to go out to eat, we could get to several cute local restaurants just by walking! I would strongly recommend this place to anyone with the financial resources to pay for it. There are enough rooms that you could get a big group of friends to go and split the cost. That's what I want to do so that I can go again.

Imagine Paradise

5 of 5
Imagine paradise, now imagine your home in Paradise; Casa Bella Vista! The Villa is nestled in the jungle high above the rest of Manuel Antonio, but within walking distance to restaurants, stores and an ATM. A bit of a trek to the beach but doable or a quick taxi ride with a great payoff, awesome beaches and fun restaurants with ceviche and plenty of beer or the local drink cacique. When we got to CBV we were greeted by the wonderful smile and warm welcome of our gracious and generous host/concierge Sani Teni. We had arranged all our tours and activities in advance with Sani. All our activities were 1st class and made our stay effortless and exceptional. CBV includes, Sani, our guard Coco who alerted us to all visiting and resident animals. 3 resident sloths, mamma, baby and male, toucans, other birds, troops of Spider, White Face and Howler monkeys, lizards and frogs to name the coolest animals that came by. We had maid service daily, laundry service and a chef by request. We had an amazing dinner elegantly prepared and served on our beautiful patio overlooking the infinity pool that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The picture cannot do justice to the serene and exquisite view. Our group of 8 recommend the Villa and the immense expertise of Sani.

Amazing Home. Literally took our breath away.

Just got back from a wonderful week long vacation in Costa Rica. Im so happy we chose to stay at Garden house and not a hotel. It really feels as though you actually live in this wonderful place rather than an uncomfortable hotel. Evenings were spent relaxing and watching the beautiful sunsets while every morning we awoke to the sounds of birds and monkeys. Everything we could every dream we would need was at the house, even games for when it rains. We even planned half our trip from the books and brochures that were provided with the house. I only wish I could be back watching the sunset while floating in the pool overlooking the ocean to bad real life is calling. When I go back to CR I will certainly stay at Garden House. PURA VIDA
