Beautiful, New, Comfortable --- Perfect Place To Stay

5 of 5
My wife and I enjoyed staying at Casa Puesta del Sol ("sunset house").. This condo was recently renovated, so everything is brand new (furnishings custom built & professionally decorated). The bedrooms have king and queen beds, and the sleeper sofa would probably be good for kids (or a third couple). The kitchen is equipped with S/S appliances (inc. washer/dryer combo and dishwasher) and everything we needed for our stay: blender, toaster, dishes, glasses, silverware, etc. The condo is on the 5th floor and offers some amazing views. The master bedroom opens to a huge balcony with hilltop / sunrise views during the day and a fantastic breeze at night. The living area is good-sized with a sofa/chair combo, flat-screen TV (we never turned it on!), and a wall of windows with unobstructed ocean views. We enjoyed the sunset views from our balcony as much as being on the beach (sunsets are amazing in Costa Rica!), and we ate breakfast there each morning. Langosta Beach is very close and perfect for morning walks, tide pools, and sunsets. Tamarindo Beach is also close (5-10 minute walk; path next to Capitan Suizo). We’d walk along the beaches in the morning (look for monkeys!), grab lunch and drinks in Tamarindo, and return for sunset. This condo had a perfect sunset view, so we understand why it was named Casa Puesta del Sol. We had a car, but only needed it to drive to other (quieter) beaches: Grande, Conchal, and Flamingo. Also, it’s only $5 for a taxi to/from town. We loved Tamarindo’s restaurants and shops, but it was nice to return to our condo in the evenings. We had the entire pool nearly to ourselves, but didn’t use the BBQ grill. The place is gated (24-hour security), so we always felt safe, and parking is close to the main elevator. We look forward to staying here again and highly recommend it to families, couples, or anyone looking for the perfect place to get away. Pura Vida!

Wonderful!

From the first moment to the last, the whole experience was perfect. You really cannot find a better located property with it's own "two steps" access to the best collection of swimming pools we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. The property is even better than the photographs convey. Your every possible need has been anticipated. The kitchen has every convenience (if that's what you want) and the resort has restaurants for everyone. It was great to roll out of bed to the splendour of the tropical gardens and enjoy our own breakfasts on the terrace. It was also a luxury to enjoy the excellent food served to your table by the attentive staff of the poolside bar. The month of May, for us, was great timing as the Pacifico complex was quieter but we still had the beautiful Costa Rican sunshine and tropical heat. We really good go on and on and run out of superlatives! Thanks Dave for taking our booking and truly providing the ingredients for a holiday to remember. AWESOME PLACE!! Thank you!!

5 of 5
I highly recommend this place. My first time in Costa Rica. I phoned the owners directly who gave me so much information and were a tremendous help. When I arrived at the airport, they had someone to pick me u at the airport in Liberia, and drive me to the gated property. When I walked in, it was very new, clean, beautiful paint, great size and even two balconies. It's very quiet. There is a modern kitchen with granite, cooking appliances, amenities etc.. It was very clean, and also there were maids that came every other day. When I asked them to come daily it was not an issue either. The condo is large, very open, two bathrooms, also with granite and lots of windows. The lot next door is empty with grasses and trees. One day I saw monkeys traveling around the trees, very interesting to wake up to. There is a guard on premises at all times, who was also quite helpful with any questions I had. I ate at a place a block away, called the Castle Restaurant. It is outdoorsy with really great local food. There is a store on the same block to buy necessities and food/drink. I walked to the beach daily, took me 3 minutes, totally easy. I drove to several other beaches, they are all around and all close. In addition, FLAMINGO BEACH and tourist area is only 9 minutes driving time and I went there often as well. I stayed for 2 weeks and am definetely returning next year. What a bargain, I couldn't believe it!!
