Just 40 minutes to NYC

5 of 5
We wanted to find something close to the City while still in the country. This was the perfect choice, as I still had to go to NYC (only 40 minutes by train or car) twice a week wile my wife and kids were relaxing near the pool. We will be coming back next summer. Peter

1st stay/1st review

My brother had major surgery in a Manhattan hospital and we needed 10 days to recuperate as he had to return to the same Dr a week after surgery. We were so happy and comfortable in this 1st floor condo. Parking was close to the elevator on lower level. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was delightful and fully stocked with almost everything we needed. We had to purchase and leave behind a blender. Having a full size washer and dryer was wonderful! For our needs and anyone else in similar situations, I highly recommend this property. I would suggest to the owner that he/she replace the toilets which were old and low with comfort level ones and put hooks on the bathroom doors. A reusable cart for carrying groceries would be nice as well.

Great house in a wonderful neighborhood.

5 of 5
We feel most fortunate to have had the opportunity to live in this house for the past five months. The house is charming, very comfortable, and the upgrades in the master bath and kitchen make for easy living. The first floor rear sun room with the t.v. is a wonderful addition to this house. Kathryn, the landlord, has been most accommodating to our needs and the parking situation, particularly with having our two college age children living with us, was never a problem. This quiet neighborhood is easy to walk and the house is situated a short walk to local stores, and a brief walk to the to a town nature preserve which offers multiple hiking trails. We have had a great experience living here and highly recommend this house.
