Gorgeous home and views

5 of 5
I had a group of eleven people stay at the location and the breathtaking views wasn't the only thing that impressed us; the gorgeous open floor plans, modern amenities, and seclusion were all plusses for us. The owner was always readily available for any questions we had and offered us a plethora of options to choose from nearby venues. The kitchen and great room were among our personal favorite rooms to hang out in and the master bathroom surely did not disappoint. It served it's purpose as not only a great getaway but a place that brought our group of friends closer. Two thumbs up.

Wonderful Trip on the Connecticut River - With an Amazing House Included

5 of 5
Great Historic house on the Connecticut River with breathtaking views of the river and picturistic sunsets. Our family was lucky enough to spend 4 days at Knowles Landing. Weather was unbelievable and we were able to kayak, fish, polar bear dive, picnics on the dock, and football on the river yard frontage. In the house you can see the river from all windows and the third floor bedroom is like being at your own resort. Beautiful town and area filled with history and views all along the river. Plenty of local site seeing opportunities and restaurants nearby. Probably the first time in a long time I have not watched TV in 4 days. The solitude is amazing. This location made it a great place to visit with family. Hope to visit again very soon in the near future. Thank you Sue, for your wonderful hospitality and allowing our family to make such a wonderful memory. As my father said it best, "Life is made of memories. Thank you for a BIG one."
