        Peaceful, romantic and inspiring

We spent a wonderful weekend at the beautiful Cottage at Great Falls. It was our second visit and found it to be as amazing as the first stay, if not better. Our first visit was in the fall, we walked the Appalachian Trail, photographed the foliage and the falls. Mario and Danielle have a wealth of knowledge for this area; for this stay they recommended we rent a pontoon boat at O’Hara’s Landing at Twin Lakes in Salisbury. It was a wonderful idea; it’s a short scenic drive to the beautiful lake. Bring a picnic lunch and spend the day floating and swimming. I agree fully with Robin and Gregory’s reviews, their descriptions of the cottage are perfect. My favorite spot is the sunroom off the master bedroom overlooking the Housatonic River. Take time to walk the property, the cottage is artistic inside and out. You will leave relaxed, at peace and inspired to get creative. Mario and Danielle, thank you maintaining this beautiful retreat in Connecticut and making it available for others to enjoy.

Our stay was very good. Love this place it is a true beach house. Very inviting and had a very personable touch to it. Would definately stay there again. It was close to restaurants walking distance and the Ferry was only 8 miles away to Port Jeffery. We enjoyed our stay.
