The barn is full of soul! The barn was the highlight of our vacation. Every morning we looked at each other in disbelief that this was our home for a few days. When we arrived we were greeted by Guy and a fridge full of breakfast goodies not to mention the best cookies ever. Hope and Faith are the sweetest horses and very friendly to carrot feeders. We enjoyed the pool, animals and pool table. And the bed was very comfy. We also enjoyed the seclusion. Even though the family resides on the property, we never really noticed it. Working with Guy on the reservation was easy. Kent is a quaint town and The location is convenient to wineries. We also enjoyed Fife and Drum (romantic dinner) and Gilbert's (take out - great food and pizza).

A group of ten of us went up and had a terrific time. There is so much space for everyone to spread out, enjoying the deck and huge living room. We enjoyed walking around the pond and taking the canoe out for a glide. The bedrooms did the job, and the check in/check out procedures were very easy. It was a surprisingly hot September weekend and we would have enjoyed taking a dip, but the pool filtration system was not working which was too bad. The sunsets were breathtaking - a perfect spot place to relax, enjoy good wine and good friends!

Wonderful spot in Salisbury

My husband and I just enjoyed a wonderful week at the Barn with our three kids. It is warm and inviting and has great character. There are wonderful antiques mixed with a modern kitchen and baths. It was the perfect combination. Looking forward to returning.
