Great Place For Family Weekend

5 of 5
We affectionately refer to our family as "The Herd." It is large, varied and, if not properly corralled, prone to a stampede of complaints. Finding a place that makes everyone, young and old, happy when we travel is a challenge. The home on Duck Pond was simply great. The house lives much larger than it looks on-line, with plenty of space for each of us to have the right amount of privacy with a great kitchen, sunroom and den, where we could all meet. Some of us decided to ski at Mohawk, others to tube at Woodbury, and still others explored the nearby woods. Plenty of stuff to do. Stores and restaurants, including a quirky pizza place called The Bohemian, are close by. Property manager was very pleasant and accommodating. Highest rating.

Beyond Expectations

5 of 5
John's property was beyond our expectations. There is a lot more to this place than from the picts. The land is beautiful and the house is spacious, clean, charming. We were a group of 8 and all fit comfortably. The kitchen was great for cooking and we spent the whole morning in the breakfast nook surrounded by the rising sun. Really pretty. The house is a great value and we look forward to visiting in the future.
