Perfect

My party of 12 having been getting together for the past seven years to enjoy the Super Bowl together. Most of the houses were very nice but this I one takes the cake. All the amenities that you would find in your own home plus more. You didn't feel like a guest in someone else's house, it felt like you were home. The kitchen had everything that you could possible need, family room was large to accommodate all twelve adults very confortably. And four full baths. One last thing to write about is their house manager Deb. She was just a doll! We hope to do this again next year.

Fabulous beach house for short term or long

5 of 5
I stayed in this house for 2 weeks as an alternative to a downtown New Haven hotel for family for a weekend trip. It was fabulous!!!! I could not have been more pleased with the ease of navigating and logistics with the house, nor do I think I could have found a better decorated and comfortable house to stay! The attention to detail with everything in this house is stunning. It is the perfect beach house, with the feel of luxury in the bedrooms and bathrooms, but the comfort of a home. It is stocked with wonderful books for a quiet day at home amidst the plethora of groomed foliage and flowers in the back or front yard, records and music to enjoy old times, games to enjoy time with family, or a very short walk to the beach for a sunny day. There is a market roughly 2 blocks away (less than 5 minutes walking) with some of the best chicken salad and grape leave I have ever had (and I have had quite a few at different places as they are two of my favorite foods), a fabulous lobster roll cafe (we had a dinner catered in the back yard one evening weekend), and beach shops to rent paddle boards or purchase a stained glass or sea shell souvenir. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and the neighbors pleasant and friendly. I would recommend this beach house to anyone who is looking for an alternative to staying in a hotel and is looking for a clean and comfortable feeling. It is very friendly for a long term rental. If I return to Connecticut, I would definitely stay in this rental again, and I plan to rent through VRBO for all vacations in the future as opposed to staying in a hotel. Overall, a spectacular place to stay!!!
