Quiet Getaway With Plenty To Offer

5 of 5
Dean's home was a perfect spot for meeting up with friends. With it's incredibly convenient location between Boston and New York, it made for a quick and easy weekend getaway. The pictures of the home say it all. The views were great. The house was clean and newly renovated. There was plenty of space to keep everyone comfortable. And, most importantly, Dean was incredibly responsive and made the transaction worry free. I can't imagine how beautiful this home would be during the summer.

Cozy stay and warm property manager!

5 of 5
I had to go to Connecticut for work reasons and due to the length of the stay without a definitive end date, my husband came with me. Patty, the homeowner, welcomed us and made us feel comfortable and checked on us regularly to ensure all our needs were met. It was quiet and felt like a home away from home. When it came to needing to extend my stay and additional week, it was a no-brainer that I wanted to continue to stay in the home. We were able to do this so it allowed me not to have to re-locate and focus on my project at work. Lastly, when I did get time off, it was a short walk to the lake or to a local restaurant for easy relaxation without having to deal with crowds or traffic. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Trip on the Connecticut River - With an Amazing House Included

5 of 5
Great Historic house on the Connecticut River with breathtaking views of the river and picturistic sunsets. Our family was lucky enough to spend 4 days at Knowles Landing. Weather was unbelievable and we were able to kayak, fish, polar bear dive, picnics on the dock, and football on the river yard frontage. In the house you can see the river from all windows and the third floor bedroom is like being at your own resort. Beautiful town and area filled with history and views all along the river. Plenty of local site seeing opportunities and restaurants nearby. Probably the first time in a long time I have not watched TV in 4 days. The solitude is amazing. This location made it a great place to visit with family. Hope to visit again very soon in the near future. Thank you Sue, for your wonderful hospitality and allowing our family to make such a wonderful memory. As my father said it best, "Life is made of memories. Thank you for a BIG one."
