Fall Family Weekend

5 of 5
What a wonderful cottage! Bright, spacious, very comfortable, tasteful decor; we appreciated the attention to detail and amenities. Lovely library, beach supplies. Quiet location with private beach access a short walk away. Booster seat, games and toys for young ones. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay-altho' too short!-and look forward to returning! Brenda and Jeff stopped by to orient us to the cottage and answer any questions. Would absolutely recommend.

Wonderful house in a wonderful community

5 of 5
We loved out time in this house on Noyes avenue. Lords point is a lovely small community where we felt safe and welcome. The house is simply furnished and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the outdoor shower. Life without Wifi was an adjustment but ultimately good for us!

cozy.comfy. secluded but close to everything

5 of 5
I am sitting outside at this cottage able to write this using the owner provided wireless internet, enjoying the quiet, even though we are a quick 5 minute walk from the beach and right on a main street from the beach. Just heard two ladies walking by that couldn't see me sitting out here that said "Oh,look at that, there is a place in behind there, it's a little fairy cottage." That's exactly what I thought when I saw it online! The pictures are exactly how it looks, although landscape is even more lush as the end of summer approaches. A nice surprise is the arbor of grapevine that compliments the rest of the plantings. I will be pulling up a chair (one already there if I needed it) before the week is over to sit under it and read a book.If you forget to bring one of your own,no worries, the owner has a small library of classics to choose from. Kitchen is well appointed, don't need to bring a thing, you can make anything you want.We are loving it. Did this on the spur of the moment (as I was procrastinating doing a research paper for a summer class) and the owner was just awesome to work with. Every inch of the house is used but does not feel crowded and to have 1.5 baths was a really nice amenity. Unusual in a cottage... If she can accommodate us again, we will be back. A gem of a place- hope to come back in 2015! It's magical here,a nice break for a busy family who needed some solace....
