            A Wonderful Week

            5 of 5
The home was adorable and quite comfortable. All of the ammenities you need were made available. We were within walking distance to most everything in the area. My family had a great week and we would definitley return again. James and Wendy were so accomodating and gracious as well. Overall a wonderful experience.

A sweet and picturesque waterside retreat

            5 of 5
I had the most wonderful time at this cottage! It really is as picturesque as it appears in the photos! The generous-sized back deck opens up to a sweet little bay nestled between the Long Island Sound and a bird sanctuary. The owner was very generous in lending us his kayaks and row boat, as well as beach equipment. Kitchen is well stocked with a modern grill out back, and house is delightfully decorated with lots of comfy spots to nestle up and read a book. Owner is communicative and very helpful. Highlights for us included the local beach, just a couple minutes walk from the cottage, and the outdoor shower. Westbrook is a sleepy little town, but perfect if you're looking to decompress!

            A wonderful getaway

            5 of 5
We stayed in the cottage for a three day getaway from NYC. We had a wonderful relaxing time. The nearby towns of Westerly and Stonington are beautiful bastions of New England charm. It is not as crowded and expensive as many destinations around NYC tend to be. No strip malls, fast food or 'Big Box" shopping centers. The cottage is comfortable, clean and well appointed. There are plenty of nearby activities however the property is so pleasant it is tempting just to stay in and relax.
