SUMMER FUN AT WINTER PARK

5 of 5
My family and I had a wonderful time. The condo is modestly furnished, very clean, and full of things to help us entertain the kids(both inside the condo and out in the resort). We used the condo as a base of operations to explore RMNP, and several other resorts in the area. The Winter Park resort itself is geared towards mountain bikers but my team of bikers are quite old enough for that. The attached deck has a gas grill ready to go, a hot tub, and a fireplace to feed and entertain the team after a long day. The views of the mountains from the peaceful deck were worth the $ all by themselves.

WONDERFUL PLACE FOR A FAMILY

5 of 5
A few years ago I traveled with my husband, four daughters and their significant others and two grandchildren, exactly 12 people, and there was room to spare in this magnificent house with a cabin feeling but very close to everything. I apologize for not writing this review earlier. If we ever go back to Colorado, there is no other place but this one to stay. There is a community park within walking distance with free sleights to use. My children (and I too) had such a wonderful time! The ski slope is very close and we also took a sleight ride through the woods. There is also a skating rink for the family to enjoy, a McDonald's, and a pharmacy. there is no large supermarket in the town but there is one at the next town. There is also tubing at the next town. Lots of restaurants close by, but you do need a car. It is better to rent a car than use the shuttle from the airport and you will need it there to go shopping at the other town.

BEST CONDO, LOCATION, AMENITIES AND OWNER!!!

5 of 5
Late in posting this as we stayed here in Feb of 2013 and I am almost reluctant to write this review as I really don't want to let the secret out about how fantastic this unit and owner are. We have stayed at several units within the Zephyr building over the last few years and this unit was by far and away the best of them all! Starting with location, the unit is in the Zephyr Slopeside building and offers true ski-in/out access to WP/MJ via the back door. Owner provides access to a very convenient ski locker right inside the back door which can accomodate several sets of skis/poles/boards/etc. No lugging/storing gear up in the unit or car. Parking was provided in the underground garage with easy access to the unit via both elevator and stairs. The overall location of the unit is great as you are walking distance to everything at the base including restaurants, bars, shops, and coffee shops. The owner was very friendly, easy to work with and went way out of his way to accommodate us for our stay. We had our 4 month old daughter with us and the owner ensured that a pack 'n play would be provided for our use so that we did not have to bring one with us. The unit was fully stocked with food (frozen pizzas), snacks, drinks and even fresh flowers upon our arrival. This was amazing and a really nice touch which we appreciated after traveling in. The kitchen has everything you could possible need to cook meals. This unit is larger than a standard 2 bedroom in this complex and the master bedroom and bathroom are huge with plenty of extra space. We fit four adults and a baby very comfortably with room to spare. It is very nicely appointed and decorated with clean, newer and very comfortable furniture/beds. The large flat-panel TVs were great and we also appreciated the fun games and sleds/snowball makers that were in the unit. You can tell the owner takes great pride in this unit and maintains it at a very high level. Overall, we enjoyed a fantastic stay. This is bar far the best unit we have stayed in at Zephyr and a great overall renting experience with the owner. This is our go-to ski-in/out condo at WP/MJ!
