Outstanding rental in the heart of The Springs

5 of 5
What a delightful place. My husband and I had a fabulous 3 day stay in Colorado Springs. Not only was this beautiful home close to everything but when I say everything I mean within two or three blocks of downtown Colorado Springs. This home was probably built in the early 1900s has been completely remodel as a new home inside. The owners Seth and Paige, have furnish this home with everything you could possibly want in a vacation rental. They also were very responsive to every need that we had, and offered a wealth of information about Colorado Springs. They responded quickly to any question that came up. The beds were extremely comfortable unlike many others where we have stayed. The inside has beautiful hickory floors in the downstairs. The kitchen is brand-new and a delight. The bathrooms which sometimes can be a problem in rentals, were perfect. Wonderful big tile showers. Extremely clean which we really appreciated. The outside is also very cute and has builtin neon surrounded clock under the gable in front. Very unusual. I am would bet there are few vacation rentals as nice and convenient in Colorado Springs and it has our highest recommendation.

Perfect location!!

5 of 5
From the moment we walked in the beautiful house, I was amazed!!! The main floor had a more than well equipped kitchen. Beautiful hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances. The laundry room was perfect! New washer and dryer so we didn't have any dirty laundry to take home! The dining room was very spacious with a den attached that the kids took advantage of the video games! Another den with beautiful views of the cog and the mtn's was a center point after eating dinner. Downstairs, the two bedrooms were plenty for 5 people! Bunk beds with a trundle and another twin bed in one room and a queen bed in the other room. The bathroom downstairs was fantastic as well! The front porch was great for watching the Hikers and Pukes Peak Marathon runners! Oh forgot to mention the half bath on main floor. On the 3rd floor the 2 master suites were just amazing! We had the main master which was beautifully decorated and had mountain views. With a flick of a switch you had a romantic fire going in the fireplace along with the sitting area in the window. The room was huge!! The bathroom, well, was perfect! I took advantage of the claw foot tub after our Ascent of Pikes Peak. Loved that it had shower handle attached to the bath faucet. Beautiful oil rubbed bronze fixtures. Glass shower was amazing and the toilet was separate so u could do ur thing while the other got ready lol. There was plenty of parking and no one ever got our spots. Paige was great to deal with, sad I didn't get to meet her In person due to our late night flight delays;(. Overall amazing place to stay and I recommend it for anyone!! Hope to reserve it again!

The BEST Family Retreat EVER!

5 of 5
This was the ideal "halfway point" for my family and my sister's family to spend a summer vacation together. We were all amazed at the treatment and information we received, from the owner, even before our journey began. Pam made sure all bases were covered and was even willing to add any personal touches that we may require. We definitely had a full house but there was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our own piece of serenity.Upon driving up to the house, we stopped to just enjoy the gorgeous piece of property that would be ours for the next week. The land (and privacy) that this place offered is hard to find these days.It was the perfect location to do some awesome sightseeing-Cheyenne Mnt Zoo,Olympic Training Center,Garden of the Gods,Santa's Workshop, shopping in Manitou Springs, cliff dwellings in Manitou,Molly Kathleen Gold Mine tour,Pikes Peak, great restaurants and shopping-all within 20-30 minutes. This place had it all...we couldn't keep the kids away from the exploring and fishing/boating on the pond!Actually, when asked what their favorite part of the trip was, everyone said staying at the house! We had volleyball & badminton games going, relaxing in the hammock, glass of wine on the decks, hiking, family boardgames, movie nights, etc. We have been on the hunt to find a great place for my family (in Phoenix) to join my sister's family (from Kansas) to spend summer vacations together and this was perfect! We have already started our discussions for where to try next year but when we write out our list, Trout Creek is where we all come back to!Now we just need to decide on what week (or two) we can all fit into our schedule next year!Pam was extremely helpful and made sure we were taken care of...even leaving us a wonderful "Welcome" basket full of goodies! We loved her so much that we invited her to keep us company one evening and we really enjoyed our time with her.We have already recommended this property to all of our friends and even passed the word around while we were exploring the area and meeting other vacationers. This place really can't be beat!Thank you Pam and David for sharing this home with us and allowing us to have such an incredible family vacation! We will be back...
