Great location

5 of 5
We just returned home from a three-night stay in this great cabin. Our daughter was thrilled that there were two horses to meet and our dogs appreciated the grassy yard. The cabin was clean and cozy and we really loved the Keurig coffee maker in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the fleece sheets made the chilly evenings so comfortable. We were grateful that the owner's understand that some people travel with their dogs and we were very careful to respect their property. I would definitely stay here again.

Magical!

5 of 5
We were in Colorado for a friend's wedding and had only a long weekend that we were all able to get away. With such limited time I wanted our lodging to be unique. Aspen Mountain Cabin was one-of-a-kind! Peaceful and relaxing, warm and welcoming, the cabin was better than described. The owner's attention to detail was amazing! Doll houses, toys, books and dress up clothes for young children. Sports equipment, volleyball court, WiFi, flat screen TV for the 20-somethings. A fireplace, comfortable furniture inside and out, board games, puzzles, books on the region's history/wildlife/birds, a hammock and luxurious updated bathrooms for the 55+ set. Mule deer, elk, and a wolf, all made appearances just outside the sunroom's windows. We didn't have time to really try out the well appointed kitchen; instead eating at several of the amazing local restaurants that the owner had suggested. Truly an enchanted weekend spent at this amazing home! Thanks for sharing it with us!

A wonderful getaway

4 of 5
My wife and 13 year old Labrador enjoyed our stay at this quaint and rustic cottage. Everything we needed was there, and I particularly enjoyed having a coffee grinder! There was a lot more room than we needed, and the cabin would be perfect for a large family. Next time we will bring some of our nieces and nephews. Internet was not working, but I wanted some time off the grid and the office did just fine without me. The location was perfect for us, close enough to Black Hawk for the gambling and close to Nederland where we found some wonderful dining. Everywhere is a great view and very quiet. It isn't a bad drive to Estes Park either, and the Peak to Peak highway is a drive everyone should take at least once. Tips on the rock pile in back; wait at least two full days to climb it if you are flatlanders like us! The view is definitely worth the hike, but it is pretty vertical back there! Thanks Viveca for making this property available to us. We will be returning.
