great place for a family gathering

5 of 5
Our group of eight stayed here two nights. The house is clean and conveniently located, just minutes from a grocery store and the hot springs. The upstairs loft area had beautiful views from the deck, and the bedrooms were spacious. The shower / toilet rooms upstairs were a bit cramped, but the downstairs bathroom was a good size. The football watchers in our group loved the game room above the garage! We enjoyed the cozy back deck. There's space near by to pitch horseshoes. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the lake, and we saw a lot of deer. We highly recommend this property!

R & R was so good that it added years to my life!

5 of 5
The house was perfect: light and airy with good cross ventilation for great cool nights of sleep bundled in warm covers. The outdoor and indoor gas fireplaces were perfect--easy to use and perfect around which to relax while star gazing. The hot tub was decadent after a day of running several miles or hiking or hunting and more and more stars showed up the longer one adjusted to the dark The house was VERY well supplied--no runs to the store for essentials as they were all there! Reading on the deck or in the living room was great as the mountain view and bird feeders made an exquisite ambience. Town was not far but the next house was--ie, not crowded at all--we had our privacy. The road loop in front of the house made a nice lap for jogging at 1.3 miles per lap. I cannot find ANY complaint nor can those who traveled with us!

4th Time There, And Already Booked For Next Year

5 of 5
This was our 4th year to rent this home during the Labor Day Week Holiday. We come here every year from Florida to attend the three day “Folk Music Fest.” There were eight of us this year and the house was again a perfect fit for our needs. Plenty of comfortable beds, more than enough pots and pans in the kitchen to make cooking our meals easy. We cooked every night we were there and ate breakfast in town. Sitting out on the back deck at night with a glass of wine gassing at the stars is truly and experience that has to be done at least once in your life. We arrived very late at night and as always, all of the lights were turned on in the house to greet us. The only problem that we had and I caused it was that I lost the key to the house while at Folk Fest. I called the property manager and he drove to the hot springs where we were relaxing and gave us a spare key. We have already booked the house again for next year. I cannot recommend this home enough.
