This is a beautiful home in a breathtaking setting. It was a wonderful opportunity to get away from it all and get back to nature. We caught a rainbow trout while there and enjoyed listening to the coyotes howl at night.
The floor plan worked very well for our family - as each of the 5 bedrooms were private with their own baths - plus a room for the kids with bunk beds - which they quite enjoyed. The décor was also beautiful, and fun - including the ping pong table in the game room.
We are a family that likes to cook so we took advantage of both the indoor and outdoor kitchens and we enjoyed the evenings around the outdoor fireplace. I will say that while the kitchen was nice and large - it seemed to be lacking some basic amenities (such as measuring cups, a blender etc.) that you would expect from a home of the caliber. It just could have been better stocked with some basic supplies.
There were a couple of other disappointments. The hot tub was not working during our stay and neither was the WiFi (which I guess in the end was a good thing). Also, I do think that the home could have been cleaner given the steep cleaning fee.
Overall it was a wonderful stay and one that we will always remember full of many fun memories.
