We rented this Mountain Log Home for family and friends to gather during our son's wedding at Red Rocks. The stay incuded hosting the rehearsal dinner at the home for a large group and this home was perfect for the occasion. The views are fabulous and the home is very inviting for large gatherings. The 3 story living room looking out over the Rockies and rustic lodge style decore create a wonderful Colorado Rockies experience. We had many visitors comment that this home looked exactly as one might expect when coming to the Rocky Mountains. Kevin and Nancy Jo were were very helpful not only in ensuring we enyoyed their home but also in providing information to help us plan a long distance catered event. We highly recommend this home for if you are looking for a similar Rocky Mountain experience.

What a wonderful, unique home Elk A Way is! The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed; in particular, we loved the convection oven and the master bed on the third floor was very comfy! There was plenty of wood for the wood burning stove, and the heaters were effective for those bedrooms that needed them. Everyone was quite comfortable! We enjoyed our son’s spring break vacation here with eight college boys and my husband and I. The location allowed those who wanted to ski or snow-board to do so easily close-by at Eldora. Then, those who wanted to hike found trails and snow shoe rentals right in Nederland. We drove two different times to Rocky Mountain National Park (1.25 hours away) and did some serious snow shoe hiking! It was beautiful and fun! The evenings were relaxing for all…the guys hogged all the wi-fi bandwidth gaming down in the lower level. Nederland is a funky little mountain town with a great grocery store and a few good restaurants, as well. The pizza place was pretty good—the boys went there three times! Marcus, the owner, could not have been more helpful and kind. Thank you, thank you, for helping the boys get their car pulled back up onto the road after they went off the shoulder during a sudden snow storm on the last night of our stay! That was very helpful and saved the boys so much time and money not having to wait on and pay for a tow truck! We would highly recommend this property! Celia and Dale

The Diamond T was perfect for our family. Very cozy, comfortable, and well-furnished. The mattresses are great, which is important when you are staying someplace for a week or longer. The lodge is only minutes from Eldora but also has a nice, isolated feeling since it sits on 2.5 acres. Gavin is a pleasure to work with and we will definitely be back. Maybe in the summer next time.
