Wonderful home in a great area

5 of 5
My family and I recently stayed at this town home. Not only was the home clean and inviting, the hot tub was a hit with everyone. The house: it is a wonderful 3 bedroom home that has 3 bathrooms. Each bedroom is of ample space and each bathroom has a shower/bath location so there is plenty of space for everyone to sleep and clean up. The hot tub: It snowed 12 inches while there, and it was wonderful to sit in the hot tub as the snow was falling. The tub is large. We had 6 people in it, and never felt crowded. Location: The house is located a block or two off highway 9, and backs up to the marsh area of lake Dillon. The location made for a perfect vacation. We parked our car and did not use it again until we left. We were a block from a trail (the trail was not scooped, and while fun and challenging hiking in the snow, it would have been fabulous to snow ski on it). We either walked to Main Street Frisco for dinner, or took the Summit Stage. The Stage is one of the hidden gems of this location. A couple blocks from the home is the main Frisco Stage stop. From here you can ride the Stage to Breckenridge, Silverthorne, Dillon, Keystone, Copper, and even Leadville. All for free. Between the proximity of the town, and the Stage, this home kept us from driving in the traffic to the other towns, and allowed us to easily walk locally. Area: Anyone looking for a stay in this area probably already knows about the ski areas around Summit County. In addition to those, there are Nordic Centers in Frisco and the other towns. They provide cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and tubing. Everyone from the youngest to the oldest on our trip enjoyed partaking in all the activities. Misc: dealing with the owner could not have been easier. Angela responded to the initial inquiry and follow up questions quickly and completely. Once my reservation week approached, her directions and instructions were clear and easy to follow. Thank you very much for your hospitality. I look forward to staying at this home again in the future, and can't wait to see what summer offers in the region.

A little piece of heaven!

5 of 5
Our favorite place on earth! My husband and I just enjoyed our 4th visit to this peaceful townhome. Each summer it beckons us to come and we cannot stay away. Upon arriving, the first thing I always notice about the townhome is how above-and-beyond clean it is. The rooms smell fresh and clean, the bathrooms are stocked with white, fluffy towels, and the kitchen is ready with all the amenities one could need. The location of the townhome is perfect for us as we love to hike, fish, and shop. Frisco's main street offers a nice array of shopping and eating opportunities, while there is also Walmart, Whole Foods, and Safeway close by. The hiking opportunities are endless, and easily accessible from the townhome's location, and there are beautiful roadside streams to keep you busy casting everyday. While catching fish and enjoying wildflowers never gets old, our most favorite thing to do when we come here is to enjoy the townhome itself. The view from the upstairs balcony is breathtaking as it sits right in front of Dillon Lake and right under Buffalo Mountain. At night the stars are so brilliant you almost think you could touch them and throughout the day you are visited by the beautiful and friendly hummingbirds who return every summer. On chilly nights you can enjoy the fireplace and play one of the many board games that are tucked away there, or you can enjoy watching a favorite DVD on the beautiful flat screen TV's. This year our grown children joined us at the townhome and it was amazing how comfortable everyone was. The beds are nice. The washer and dryer are great. Two showers can be used at one time. There are even blow dryers in the bathrooms. Obviously I could write forever but let me leave you with this..... If you are looking for a little piece of heaven, a clean, comfortable, peaceful place to hang....this is the place for you! Laurie and Tim

Summer Family Getaway

5 of 5
This was our third house we have rented in Frisco over the last 5 years and it is by far the best. It is a well located, well maintained and an extremely functional home for our family of 7. Although we encountered a few "technical" issues when we first arrived we were met with help from the property manager immediately. The local contact is personable and willing to make the necessary fixes. The location of the house is perfect for those who want easy access to downtown and the bike path. The neighborhood is quite and pleasant. We were initially worried about the traffic noise from main street but realized quickly that the landscape blocked most of the noise and provided for a secluded back yard. After searching for different houses we realized that this house fits every need and want. Families will enjoy the spacious home and the close by activities. A great house all in all and we will be back in 2015.
