We had a wonderful stay at the cabin; there were four adults and one tween and we stayed 6/14/14 through 6/19/14. We had no problems, concerns, or issues with booking or staying here. We highly recommend this cabin to others and would stay here again. The description and pictures of the cabin are spot on. We had a couple of questions during the booking process which were answered promptly.
The cabin is on 2 miles of gravel, some washboard spots and the driveway is a little tricky on a bike, but 2 motorcycles made it fine. There's a tire swing for the kids and boulders on the north and west side which we all enjoyed climbing on. We also enjoyed watching the deer, who come right up to the house. You have a wonderful view of Pikes Peak as well and its a great spot for star gazing.
The kitchen came with all of the cooking utensils one could need and it was really nicely stocked with the basics; olive oil, Pam, spices, flour, sugar, and condiments.
All of the bathrooms were great, towels were large and soft.
Bedrooms were equally as nice...the one item would be new pillows as the pillows were pretty flat.
Living room, dining room, hot tub, and decks were great! The décor is so well done you feel at home the moment you walk in. The cabin is very well maintained and there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere.
As I mentioned at the start of the review all 5 of us would stay here again. This is a great cabin and is in a great location to enjoy the attractions of Colorado Springs and the area.
