Family Fun in Estes Park

5 of 5
When visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, our family stayed at the Davis Hill Historic House in Estes Park, CO. What a great decision! The house was large enough to accomodate our party of seven adults and three children very comfortably. We loved the home's rustic charm and cozy decor. The kitchen was well stocked for the times we decided to eat in. A laundry room was also available. The open porch was our family gathering place because of the beautiful mountain views and wildlife (elk, chipmunks, humming birds) in the front yard. The kids loved playing in the yard and swinging on the hammock. The Davis Hill House is within walking distance to downtown Estes Park, with it's river walk, shops and restaurants. Fun City, a big hit with the kids, is right down the hill featuring trampolines, go-carts, etc. The property is close to several entrances to RMNP and other activities in the area such as the cable car ride up the side of the mountain, horseback riding trials, golf and more. The owners, Jim and Lois, are wonderful people. Very pleasant and helpful. Never intrusive. If you're visiting RMNP and/or Estes Park, we HIGHLY recommend the Davis Hill House. Our family loved it and hopes to return soon!

Fantastic Rocky Mountain Treasure

5 of 5
I reviewed this property yesterday and realized I didn't give it the five star rating it deserves. My bad, I should have double clicked before I hit send. It was fantastic.

Beautiful family property, close to town

5 of 5
We just returned from our trip to Estes Park and other parts of Colorado. We enjoyed the Pine Cone Cabin's location... it was walking distance to town, yet we felt like we were tucked away in the mountains, with no neighbors. There is a gully next to the cabin with trails, our kids loved this. They were able to build fairy houses and explore safely, while we visited on the deck. The kitchen is small, but very well equipped with everything you would need to cook a full family meal. We especially took advantage of the grill. Linda goes above and beyond checking on the cabin prior to our arrival, and being available to answer questions throughout the stay. I would totally stay here again.
