The condo was nicely appointed with pretty much everything we needed for our stay. The furnishings felt a bit dated, but the condo overall was well maintained. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and other nice touches that made the place comfortable. The pictures on the website are representative of the condition and the furnishings.
I felt it would have been beneficial to have a binder or something explaining how things worked in the condo, as we were not able to figure out the TV/DVD player in the 2nd bedroom. Also, there were no recommendations for restaurants, hikes, etc. in the area. Other places we've rented previously had this, and I thought it was a nice touch.
The location of the condo was great. It's about a 10 minute walk to the base village area for the resort. There isn't immediate access to hiking or biking trails, but you can get there without much trouble. We found a few trails about a mile up the road that were really great (and of course tons of bike trails over at the resort). The condo is in the building right next to the pool and hot tub, which is very convenient. Also, the pool and hot tub were well maintained. Parking was a bit of an issue as there were not enough spaces in front of the building for all of the cars, but we were there over the 4th of July weekend so that's not unexpected.
The only difficultly we had was with the email sent before our arrival. The directions contained in the email were terrible, and the physical address of the location was incorrect. This condo is located in Mt. Crested Butte, while the physical address we were given was in Crested Butte. When we plugged the address into our GPS system, this oversight caused us to end up at the wrong place. Additionally, once we figured out that problem and entered the address correctly, it still was not much assistance as no buildings in Crested Butte actually have a physical address on them. Instead, everything is just referred by the name of the complex. Problem was, we were not provided with the name of the complex in our pre-arrival email. After spending 15 minutes driving around Mt. Crested Butte at midnight looking for the address, I was forced to call the property manager. Luckily, she answered and was very helpful in providing the name of the complex. But all of that confusion could have been avoided if we had been given the name of the complex in our pre-arrival email.
Overall, I would recommend staying here.
