I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was spotless.
The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We had a great time at this house. It was spectacular, truly. The views are amazing, the furniture mostly wonderful.
A few notes: the trundle beds in two of the rooms are basically cardboard boxes and not at all comfortable. I wouldn't count on sleeping there unless it's truly a 4 year old.
The only reason this doesn't get a full five star from us is due to management. They could fix a few things to make it a much better stay:
1. Actually send invoices out a week before payments are due. I booked the house a year in advance and didn't realize there was a middle payment until I got a past due email. Definitely my responsibility to know that, but I forgot. An automated one week notice would be great.
2. I specifically asked if there would be a food processor as well as other kitchen equipment and they said there would be. There wasn't. It did create an inconvenience for our group as we cooked in house the whole time.
3. I'm convinced they would never have sent my security deposit back had I not called and asked a week after it should have arrived. They sounded confused on the phone and "didn't know why it wasn't already issued." I got the full amount back, but it still took a couple more weeks to arrive, nearly a month after it should have in the end.
