FANTASTICO!

5 of 5
This was also my first trip to Chile and we stayed in the larger house on the property. The whole house is beautifully decorated but we especially loved our master suite which was spacious and bright and featured a small terrace overlooking the Andes mountains, gardens and pool where we had our morning tea. Amazing Nancy was available to cook dinner for us and we dined on the deck adjacent to the kitchen surrounded by tall Walnut shade trees. There is a large stone fireplace in the living room which I could only imagine warming us during a winter evening. We spent one afternoon in quaint San Jose de Maipo roaming through the market and I loved the brightly colored houses and street art. Another day we rafted down the wild Maipo river. But the highlight of our trip was the 6 hr horseback ride up into the Andes with our guide Ernan. We climbed to about 5000 ft passing the most spectacular views imaginable. There our horses rested while we had an outdoor BBQ for lunch. FANTASTICO! Can’t wait to do it all over again. Highly recommended.

PERFECT CASITA

5 of 5
The smaller house on the property, closer to the Rio Maipo is the Casita with the wonderful sound of the river to fall asleep to. A beautiful house with all the amenities you will need for a perfect getaway. I really appreciated the 360 degree views of the spectacular Andes Mountains. The pool and the hot tub were wonderful after all the hiking. Nancy, our house keeper and cook made us feel very welcome and we bought her excellent honey to take back. The river below was spectacular and we would see raffters go by having a great time. There is horseback riding nearby as well. Can’t say enough good things about this special place. Can’t wait toe return!

Santiago Apartment

4 of 5
Our family of 4 stayed in this apartment for 4 nights in March 2014 while visiting our daughter who is studying in Santiago. It is centrally located and close to the Metro. We were very comfortable with the furnishings and the apartment was very clean and nicely equipped. The only problem we noted was that it could get quite loud at night with sirens, barking dogs, etc. The owner was also very nice and had things ready for us when we arrived. We had a lovely stay and would stay here again.
