                MEXICO CITY CHARM!

                5 of 5
As two teachers from San Diego, we were looking to come to the heart of Mexico City and explore all this beautiful ciudad had to offer! This rustic and most beautiful home was in walking distance of most destinations, and close to all public transportation. I felt compelled to write this review in direct response to Roger's review - if you are looking for a -Las Vegas-ish, 5-star type of accommodations, then this is not the place for you! If you are looking for a historical, well-maintained oasis in the heart of the city, filled with character and magical charm, then this is the location for you! The pictures do not adequately capture just how unique and beautiful this rental is! Juan and Delphine were so gracious in their suggestions for the city - and every detail has been attended to! We had a fabulous trip and would DEFINITELY stay here again when we return! Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us!

                ¡LIVING LOCALLY IN MEXICO CITY!

                5 of 5
We rented the apartment for a month while attending language school. It was well equipped for self catering and also very convenient for a variety of restaurants close by when we were done with fending for ourselves. Building security was excellent with additional individual monitored alarm system for the apartment. Internet connection was flawless. Proximity to Metrobus/Metro and buses running along the Reformer makes getting around the city a breeze - 5 pesos a ride! Very easy to make booking arrangements with owner and local contact Luz was very helpful. If we decide to continue our studies next year this will be the place to stay.

                CONDESA COMFORT

                5 of 5
We were perhaps the second renters of this apartment in July-August 2012. Our daughter, living in Mexico City, just had a baby and we rented this apartment for a family stay - both grandparents, the new parents and the baby - and had a great time there. The apartment was still new enough that finishing touches were still being completed, but it served us very well. The location, while not in the center of Condesa, is easily accessible by foot or taxi. It does help to have a map with the building location to show taxi drivers when you return from an outing. We walked daily to the various stores, coffee places, bank, restaurants, or took a relatively inexpensive taxi ride to the Roma, Coyoacan, or Polanco districts. A major supermarket is very nearby for groceries or sundries. The owner could not be more accommodating to us and addressed our various questions and needs before, during, and after our stay. We would absolutely consider staying here again when visiting Mexico City. If you come with kids, Parque Espana is a nice walk, even a Starbucks on the way. "El 10" restaurant, owned by Maradona, is nearby; Green Corner at Matzatlan and Fernando Montes de Oca is both an organic restaurant and store. On Fernando Montes de Oca are several shops worth a visit - Princesse au Chocolat with interesting Mexican flavored treats one not to miss, or Neveria Roxy for locally produced ice cream. There's a second Neveria Roxy near the apartment on Alfonso Reyes, which is a main street you should use as a reference point to/from the apartment. It's a great place and a good price for the area.
