AMAZING HOUSE, BEST FAMILY VACATION EVER!!

5 of 5
First we would like to thank Abner for his superb Costa Rican hospitality, he is the best. He made our too short of a vacation a worthwhile vacation. We are definitely going to visit Costa Rica again and plan to stay a Casa Infinito. Second, we would like to thank the owners Sheryl and Duncan for letting us share your home for five wonderful days of our lives. This house looks and is everything and more that is described in the profile. We tried our very best to treat it as if it was ours by taking great care of it. Being a family of 4 with two teens made this house wonderful. With more than enough room for everyone to have their separate quarters and room to roam. We were sold on this house when we saw the pictures of the infinity pool; and it being in the jungle hidden from others. This house is truly "A home away from home". It has every kitchen gadget and tools a home chef will need (minus a rolling pin). I made beef patties and did not find a rolling pin for my dough. Other than that, this house supplies you with everything. Being that we had only 5 days in Costa Rica, with Abner's assistance we tried to make the best of our time. Some of the highlights we enjoyed were DEFINITELY Zip-Lining; it was AMAZING! The horse back ride after the zip-line excursion was just okay. The next exciting activity was the white water rafting; again a very fun, amazing and unforgettable excursion. We enjoyed the ride to Manuel Antonio and visiting the national park with the animal/insect sightings. It is worth the extra cost to have a guide at the park, so that you can see the animals and insects up close. Without the guide and the telescope you will see nothing. The beach at the park were also amazing; much better than the beaches in Jaco. Abner also took us on a ride and stopped at several exclusive hotels along the way. They were very beautiful and had amazing views. For lunch Abner took us to a Costa Rican restaurant in Jaco (off a side street) that served very good food at a very reasonable price. We trusted Abner some much that he took our 17 year-old son to the beach to surf for his very first time. Our son really enjoyed himself, and would like to thank Abner again for taking him. He will never forget it. The property management company that services the house, was very pleasant and helpful when answering questions. We can't say enough about our visit to Jaco, Costa Rica and can not wait for a our return vacation to Costa Rica. Chao!

Convenient confortable house with amazing views

5 of 5
The property is like a tongue sticking out above Lake Arenal which is surrounded by mountains. It is convenient since it is just off the main road and only minutes from Arenal. The house is clean and well maintained and has new furniture and appliances. Ed and Leslie were extremely helpful and nice to deal with. Arenal has several groceries and restaurants. We purchased a prepaid SIM cards and our US phones worked everywhere and could even call the States. We didn't need to use the AC very much because there were breezes from the mountains and the lake. There were lots of outdoor activities in the area.

Fabulous Stay!!!!

5 of 5
I would like to thank Dirk, the owner, for sharing his beautiful home with me and 4 of my closest friends, The purpose of our visit was to celebrate my 50th birthday. We were looking for a home that would accommodate 6 people comfortably, a private pool, and close to the beach. This lovely home provided us with all that we were desiring. It was nice waking up and having our coffee by the pool and listening to singing birds, sounds of monkeys, and having beautiful view of cliffs and the beach from afar. A ten minute stroll to the beach to have coffee was a nice treat as well. The property was very clean and provided a washer and dryer, grill, fully furnished kitchen and a lock box for security. It also had 3 bedrooms and to full bathrooms. Gus was there awaiting at the gate upon our arrival to lead us up to the house. He was more than happy to provide us with any information about the house and any tour we were interested in. There are many brochures in the house that can help assemble tours you might be interested in. I recommend renting a car so you can go explore other beaches and to go into town. I also recommend renting Dirks property if you are wanting more privacy, yet the ability to get in the mix of things.
