Authentic mountain top paradise

5 of 5
We visited in April, a perfect time of year to showcase all the beauty this home has to offer. The entire lot is beautifully fenced in (secure windows as well), which was great peace of mind and added security for long days at the beach. The inside is upgraded, fans in each room perfect for sticky Costa Rican evenings, all necessities included, directional notes were great and helped ensure we knew where everything was located and how to use all appliances. Looking out the back covered patio was breath taking, toucans in the palms, pineapples growing all around, glistening clear blue pool, an array of vibrantly colored flowers, forested mountain tops and a lit walkway all the way down to the outdoor veranda (outdoor shower was awesome!). The property was maintained regularly by the friendly groundskeeper, which kept it looking beautiful throughout our one week stay. As if the place couldn't get any better, there is the most beautiful waterfall just a short 5 minute walk down the river around the backyard! A relaxing location to kick back and take in your surroundings... A short drive down the beautiful mountain, past the local eateries (take your pick, its not far to some amazing local restaurants) and your at the friendly surf town of dominical. If you're looking for a location that has the comforts of home while offering the authentic experience of being abroad, this is the place to stay! Already planning our next trip out for April of 2015! Thank you for having us :)

Complete Panamanian Beach Experience

5 of 5
I'm originally from Panama but I've been living in Miami, FL for the past 14 years so I was looking for a house with a real Panamanian feel and I hit the jackpot with this house!. I went for 4 nights with my family and friends (husband, 2 boys, mother, ant and 2 friends) and had a wonderful time. The view of the house is just unique!, it looks directly to a local surf spot, the beach called playa Teta so there was activity around us during the day which was lots of fun. The beach is beautiful and you can enjoy it even better when is low tide. The house itself is well maintained, very cozy and relax but with all the necessary commodities like tv cable, wifi, full kitchen and a/c. The property sits on a hill with plenty of space to play around. In the case of my boys they were more than happy to be able to roam around with no trouble. We will definitely be back to this house in the near future. We made great memories in this house.

Paradise Found at Sierpe Del Pacifico

5 of 5
My family of five had the adventure of a life time at Sierpe del Pacifico (our three children range in ages from 8-17). The jungle home is stunning, clean and placed right in the middle of the jungle--toucans, parrots, capuchin and howler monkeys are neighbours. We loved the solitude and natural splendour of the property. Paradise is simply sitting on the porch, overlooking the jungle and the Sierpe River, watching scarlet macaws fly by. We took boat trips to Corcovado Park, Cano Island, Violin Island and went horseback riding with Rosita (which was so much fun)! Caesar was a top notch guide in Corcovado--very informative and he tracked a tapir for us. Felipe was a friendly, kind and knowledgeable driver on our way to and from San Jose. In fact, everyone we dealt with regarding our vacation was friendly, knowledgable and eager to help. The experience best suits those who enjoy nature and wilderness, don't mind hot and humid weather and can handle a 5-10 minute up hill climb to the house from the dock. Make sure to stock up on groceries well before Sierpe as we found the town grocery store lacking. Being submersed in the true jungle, I learned more on the Oso Peninsula about life than in my 8 years of university. I've been home for a while; yet, I still miss the howler monkeys and their morning calls. Thank you Cassidy, it was the most amazing vacation and I'd love to return.
