Kate

My husband and 3 kids and I arrived at 6pm. It was completely beautiful and we went down to the beach to watch the sunset with our drinks. The pool is very clean and quiet. The condo has everything you need. My son loved the cricket kit that he could use on the beach. My husband using the fishing rods and caught squid off the jetty. We barbecued a lot. The nearest good supermarket is 25 mins away but there is a convenience and liquor store 10 mins away. We loved seeing the quieter old fashioned side of the island.

Perfect!

5 of 5
My husband and I had a lovely stay at this condo. It was perfect for exactly what we were looking for... relaxation in a beautiful surrounding. You can't beat the location on the quieter side of the island, but still close distance to restaurants. We only spent one day in the busy, touristy area and wished we would have just stayed on "our" side of the island. The beach was beautiful and very private. Most of our time there was spent alone... And, the few times we say other people there was plenty of space so it still seemed like it was all to ourselves. Our only disappointment was trash that washed ashore, but there is little that can be done about that. The house itself was exactly what we needed... lots of Caribbean character with amazing views. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes. And you can't beat breakfast on the back patio as you look at the ocean and palm trees. Our first day was very hot and we used every available fan, which worked out just fine. Overall we loved it here and hope to visit again. This time with our children. If we do get to return we would happily stay in this vacation rental again.

A Little Piece of Paradise

5 of 5
We recently stayed here for a week long family vacation. There were 7 of us total (ages 3 yrs to 60yrs) and had more than enough room. We arrived in the evening and found a delicious Tortuga Rum Cake as well as a booklet on the Cayman Islands for us. The condo is decorated/furnished beautifully and has everything you need while on vacation. You can leave your beach towels, snorkel gear and beach toys at home as there are plenty there for everyone to use. Since we arrived after the sun had set, we didn't get to see the amazing views until we woke up the next morning. All three bedrooms had a view of the ocean!! I was worried the beach would be crowded but it wasn't at all! There were plenty of spots to choose from, whether you wanted direct sun or complete shade! The water was breathtaking with the most beautiful shades of blue I have ever seen! To the far right of the beach, there was a rocky bottom entrance which was perfect for the snorkelers in the group. The rest of the beach had a sandy bottom which was perfect for my two small children. We did eat out at the neighboring restaurant one evening and had a wonderful time. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was fantastic! We ventured away from Rum Point for one day during our visit. We spent that day visiting Turtle Farm and Dolphin Discovery. I recommend doing both of these. On our last full day, we took the glass bottom boat to Stingray City. It was an unbelievable experience! All the people that we met while at Rum Point, whether they were vacationers or Islanders, were so friendly. It was very hard to leave to come back home. We hope to return soon!
