Recent Cayman Islands Reviews

a gem of a place

5 of 5
My wife and I spent a wonderful week at this condo. The owner, Marc, was very attentive from the time of reservation to our departure. He provided lots of useful information on line and in the unit with respect to how everything worked as well as many useful tips on where, and how to avail ourselves of the many nearby activities and attractions. He also called the day after we arrived to ensure we had everything we needed. One special touch was that fresh fruit, juice and bottles of water were provided on our arrival. This was appreciated since we arrived on a Sunday and grocery stores were closed. The unit itself is very comfortable, clean, and has everything a guest could want. All the appliances were first rate and having an electric BBQ in the screened in porch was perfect. The linens and towels were plentiful and good quality. The unit also included beach umbrellas that you could use in the event the resort umbrellas were in use on the fabulous private beach, which is also a great snorkeling site. There was never a problem with beach chairs as the resort had more than enough to meet demand. The resort grounds and pool and well maintained and the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The resort is located in a great location and is within walking distance of many restaurants, grocery stores, shops and attractions. A car is not really necessary and the local bus system is safe to take. This is a very comfortable, quiet, relaxing place to stay. We would highly recommend this unit and look forward to coming back.

Perfect Family Vacation

5 of 5
Our now 10 and 12 year old boys chose to come back to No Big Ting the day we left last year. We have been looking forward to returning to the best home, best beach, best snorkeling and now best pool in the Caymans. We snorkeled everyday and saw an amazing assortment of fish, several stingrays, and a couple of sea turtles. The home is immaculate, beautiful, and luxurious yet comfortable for a family of 4 with two busy boys. Colin and Bonnie (the owners) are amazing. They are very attentive to their home and to their guests. They could not be more personable and helpful. With all the excellent reviews it bothers us to write another wonderful review because availability will be more limited, but Colin and Bonnie deserve an enormous thank you for providing a well-imagined place in paradise.

Gorgeous property with clean comfortable Condo

5 of 5
First time trip to Grand Cayman for our family. Have much experience with the Caribbean having lived there for several years on much less developed islands. Really enjoyed the safe feeling and the amenities offered by this island. The condo was great, clean and the high tech climate control system was wonderful. The grounds are beautiful. The condo was very well stocked with everything you could need for a family and we appreciated the coffee maker as well as the ability to drink the water right from the tap. The Kirk market rivals any of the grocery stores at home and the food scene on the island is exceptional for all foodies! The only thing we can recommend is for the owners to update the cookware in the kitchen ie frying pans pots etc...which are a must for those of us travelling with children. The Indian restaurant, Southern Spice, just a short walk from the condo was probably the best I have ever had! Camana Bay just a short drive away is a great oasis with everything the Foodie could want....we had dinner at Ortanique and loved it...and so did the kids! The stay was great...and we would recommend this condo to everyone without hesitation.
