GRAND ACCOMODATION AT GRAND CAYMAN

5 of 5
Our stay at Cayman Castle started out a bit bumpy! (But please read ENTIRE review). The day before our arrival we were advised of an electrical short at the Cayman Castle, causing all electricity to be out for the weekend. Our entire trip had been planned solely to stay at “The Castle”, so this news was devastating to us! We were advised that we would be put up temporarily at another location for two nights, and promises were made that the problem would be fixed over the weekend. (But we were skeptical that ANY repairs could be done on Saturday & Sunday, and feared our Family Reunion Vacation was ruined! …….we were proven wrong!!!!!). Our temporary weekend accommodations were somewhat cramped, but VERY NICE (“Two Rainbows” Villa, over at Rum Point). During that time I was stunned to see 5-6 workmen pulling double-overtime on Sat & Sun to repair the problem at The Castle. (It was no minor problem!!!!). And as promised, it was ready for us on Monday! And it was worth the wait! (And for our trouble, we were not only compensated for the difference in price for our temporary 2-day relocation, but also afforded a “dinner on Jim” at the FABULOUS Tukka Restaurant nearby!). And now, with that out of the way, my REVIEW OF CAYMAN CASTLE: Our family chose The Castle based on the pictures we saw on the website, and the luxury, exclusivity, spaciousness and amenities of the entire property! We were not disappointed. The rooms are fresh, updated and luxurious! The bathrooms are all roomy, modern and beautifully designed. Kitchen is first class and affords all modern conveniences. Linens are fresh, and towels plentiful. But all that is a distant second to the beautiful location of The Castle. The porches, decks and patios overlook some of the prettiest water in the Caymans. There is a fantastic snorkel reef about 200 yards straight away from the Castle’s stairs into the Caribbean. (Use the kayaks provided to row out to underwater heaven. Tie up to the buoy and swim around to see stingray, squid, lobster, starfish and a whole aquarium of colorful fish, just a short paddle away). We also enjoyed sharing the grounds with some fascinating (and large) Iguanas who seemed to join us for coffee each morning on the lower patio. (But don’t worry! They are harmless, and more afraid of you, than you are of them!). The pool and surrounding patio, is not only cool and refreshing, but offers a fantastic setting to wind down at the end of the day! The view over the zero

GREAT CONDO AWESOME LOCATION!

5 of 5
We stayed in Marc's condo from June 22-26, 2014. Didn't rent a car and didn't feel the need for one. Cab ride from airport-19.50 USD. The condo is in a great location and we walked everywhere. Less than a minute walk from the condo is a Wendy's, liquor store, gas station, Chicken Chicken and Karma. Ate at Karma twice-food and service is incredible! Camana Bay is less than a 5 minute walk-neat place with great restaurants too! The AC works great in the condo as well as the fridge and ice maker. You literally walk out the patio door and you are on the beach. Beach is not crowded at all and only once did I have to use the umbrella in the condo because the resort umbrellas were taken. There is no dishwasher or TV in the bedroom. No big deal but just thought other renters might want to know. Marc was great to work with and called to see how everything was going. Condo was clean and is perfect for a couple who wants to spend some alone time together on an amazing beach. I would recommend this condo to anyone. I have been to several all inclusives and there is no way you could ever get a room this close to the beach at a big resort! Thanks for a great vacation Marc!

VACATION OF A LIFETIME FOR OUR FAMILY

5 of 5
This was our long-planned, "Vacation of a Lifetime" with our 5 boys ages 7 to 17, my wife, and myself to Cayman. We researched out Cayman and Tom and Deborah's condo comparing these to other places with consideration to everything as we were staying for almost an entire month. With our young children we felt very safe always and the water is perfect temperature for snorkeling. We frequently started our day with a dip in the pool, then snorkeled one of many sites mostly in George Town or Seven Mile Beach area, then returned for a pool-side BBQ before winding down to a nice movie and going to bed. Although we brought our own snorkel equipment, there condo is equipped with both snorkel equipment and plenty of sand toys for beach. You are able to snorkel directly from back of property--with steps/rails for entering/exiting water and there is a small ship wreck to snorkel a hundred yards South of property. Tennis courts were being worked on during our stay so Tom provided access to another court next door. My wife accidentally set off fire alarm while making breakfast one morning causing all alarms in our building to sound, which was embarrassing to her but Tom and Georgia (ppty mgr.) were very accommodating and said that it on overly sensitive/safe smoke sensors. Anyway we snorkeled daily, swam in pool daily, played either tennis or basketball daily (public court is next to Kirk Grocery Store down street) and had the time of our lives creating memories forever. I recommend a rental car for groceries and if large family going to Cost U Less (like Costco). All dishes and BBQ items, soaps, shampoos, and many kitchen spices, were all provided. View from balcony is beautiful and straight view to Ocean. Cell phone is provided that can be charged and is much less than US Plans. Another great feature was code door lock so anyone in our family could lock and unlock door w/o need of key. Favorite snorkel spots were Stingray City, Eden Rock, Marriott Snorkeling Balls, Wreck of Callie, Rum Point, and area in back of Avalon condos. Turtle farm (less expensive pass is fine as we paid more to swim w/ turtles, which was a very mossy pond) and most expensive dolphin pass was worth it as this was a memory of a lifetime for our family. You will love this condo, love Cayman, and remember this experience in the eternities...
