The trip of a lifetime for 14!

5 of 5
Our family of 14 had an incredible vacation. This property could not have been any better suited for our group. All the adult couples had their own bedrooms and private bathrooms. The common areas were great for meals, games, and just hanging out as an extended family. The pool and of course the Gazebo were the outside gathering points. Beautiful water , the more secluded part of the island, Rum Point and two fun excursions made for many happy memories. Our oldest grandson said it best " it sure is hard to leave paradise!" Thanks for letting us enjoy your wonderful home. The Dallas Clan!

Beautiful Condo - Perfect Vacation Spot

5 of 5
Jose and Elena are amazing. They supplied us with all necessary information of what to do in Puerto Rico before we even got there. We enjoy adventure and sightseeing on our vacations as well as relaxing. The property is a stone's throw from the beach. The beach bar does have the best mojitos we've ever had as well as a great menu. There are plenty of restaurants in Las Palmas. Depending on what you like to do a car is necessary. We went to San Juan a few times (about an hour away) ziplining in El Yunque, visited the rainforest and went to Fajardo to do the nighttime kayak bioluminescence tour. The highways are good and for first time visitors we didn't have a problem getting anywhere we needed to. The condo is well maintained and decorated. It is super comfortable and makes you feel like you are home. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. The concierge also was extremely helpful in setting up reservations for us as well as golf. Jose even called to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. If you're looking at visiting Puerto Rico and staying at Las Palmas I would only recommend this property.

GRAND Accomodation at Grand Cayman

5 of 5
Our stay at Cayman Castle started out a bit bumpy! (But please read ENTIRE review). The day before our arrival we were advised of an electrical short at the Cayman Castle, causing all electricity to be out for the weekend. Our entire trip had been planned solely to stay at “The Castle”, so this news was devastating to us! We were advised that we would be put up temporarily at another location for two nights, and promises were made that the problem would be fixed over the weekend. (But we were skeptical that ANY repairs could be done on Saturday & Sunday, and feared our Family Reunion Vacation was ruined! …….we were proven wrong!!!!!). Our temporary weekend accommodations were somewhat cramped, but VERY NICE (“Two Rainbows” Villa, over at Rum Point). During that time I was stunned to see 5-6 workmen pulling double-overtime on Sat & Sun to repair the problem at The Castle. (It was no minor problem!!!!). And as promised, it was ready for us on Monday! And it was worth the wait! (And for our trouble, we were not only compensated for the difference in price for our temporary 2-day relocation, but also afforded a “dinner on Jim” at the FABULOUS Tukka Restaurant nearby!). And now, with that out of the way, my REVIEW OF CAYMAN CASTLE: Our family chose The Castle based on the pictures we saw on the website, and the luxury, exclusivity, spaciousness and amenities of the entire property! We were not disappointed. The rooms are fresh, updated and luxurious! The bathrooms are all roomy, modern and beautifully designed. Kitchen is first class and affords all modern conveniences. Linens are fresh, and towels plentiful. But all that is a distant second to the beautiful location of The Castle. The porches, decks and patios overlook some of the prettiest water in the Caymans. There is a fantastic snorkel reef about 200 yards straight away from the Castle’s stairs into the Caribbean. (Use the kayaks provided to row out to underwater heaven. Tie up to the buoy and swim around to see stingray, squid, lobster, starfish and a whole aquarium of colorful fish, just a short paddle away). We also enjoyed sharing the grounds with some fascinating (and large) Iguanas who seemed to join us for coffee each morning on the lower patio. (But don’t worry! They are harmless, and more afraid of you, than you are of them!). The pool and surrounding patio, is not only cool and refreshing, but offers a fantastic setting to wind down at the end of the day! The view over the zero
