Tropical Paradise

5 of 5
My wife traveled to Rincon, PR for the first time for spring break along with 3 boys under the age of 15 and our parents and we had one of the best family vacations we have ever had. The home is phenomenal and the outdoor spaces are nothing short of spectacular. The staff went above and beyond and were authentically interested in making sure that your trip was perfect. The owner (Carlos) greeted us with a warm hug and very welcomed glasses of wine. He took the time to drive me around town to show me some key areas, restaurants, beaches, supermarket, etc. This simple detail really showed me that he was not interested in just collecting a check. His hospitality, personality and effort really made all of the difference. The home and the surrounding area made you feel like you were staying in a luxury tree house in the middle of a lush rain forest. My wife and I stayed in the eco room and we enjoyed a bit of privacy, slept with the windows open and enjoyed the sounds of the ocean, coqui's etc. It was fantastic. The location of the home is perfect in the sense that you can walk to a very swimmable beach, you can surf, eat, run and enjoy everything Rincon has to offer without a car. We rented a car and fell in love with the town. If you are considering this home for a vacation I would highly recommend it. Thank you Carlos for a fantastic week. We will be back.

Beautiful villa with great local contact person

5 of 5
The property is well maintained and full of sea inspired European charm. Bob, the local contact, escorted us to the villa (we would not have found it on our own) and provided much appreciated food and wine for our first 12 hours when our provisioning service fell through. The road/driveway to the villa is an adventure but the view at the top is spectacular. Truly heavenly! We will be back!!

Great villa, great location, great family vacation

5 of 5
I highly recommend this villa. We stayed for 10 days over Easter. This was our second trip to Puerto Rico and to Rio Mar. The first time we stayed in the Ocean 16 building. Very nice but Elliot and Rodrigo's Villa was so much bigger and felt more like home. The second floor terrace was one of the biggest reasons we chose this villa. Our 1 year old naps and I wanted an outdoor space to be in the sun. The terrace was perfect! I was up there usually from noon-2:30 and had sun the whole time. If you wanted to sit out but have shade the first floor terrace would be great. Something for everyone! They were so great to work with. From the very the first email I sent inquiring about the property thru checkout they were helpful and responsive. They answered all of our questions and provided helpful information about restaurants and activities in the area. We asked if they offered a VIP card to the Wyndam resort. They checked into it, joined and we got cards allowing us access to the resorts pool and some amenities. The resort did change some of their policies during the time we were planning our trip. Without us even asking they apologized and gave us a break on our stay. It was out of their control but they took care of us anyway. How great is that?! Their property manager Lydia was responsive and helpful as well. The Villa is in cluster 2. Each cluster has it's own pool and this one is very nice. We also had access to the beach club pool, also nice and a lot of fun. One piece of advice, if you are traveling with other families make sure you stay in the same cluster. Especially if it's a busy time. They do get tight on security. There is also a golf cart that is available. Not absolutely necessary but very convenient for running back and forth to beach. Now...the lack of air conditioning...my husband loved it, the kids didn't notice and I was on the fence. Didn't miss it at all during the day, would have been kind of nice at night to sleep, but overall it was no big deal. Having all the windows and door open to the outdoors was so great. The villa is clean, has a well equipped kitchen, a gas grill, rain showers, comfortable beds and a great view. Can't think of any reason not to stay here again. Enjoy!
