Beautiful home!

5 of 5
Our recent stay at Villa Mirino was wonderful. The house is top notch! Well maintained! Nicely decorated! Beautiful views of the water, the sunset and the lovely landscaping! We loved the infinity pool! If we had any questions at all we called Camille, the property manager, she hooked us up with a taxi driver that is familiar with the location and the island! As well as a great masseuse. Great vacation home, definitely recommend staying here!

Dream Vacation

5 of 5
This compound is beyond your wildest dreams & I heavily recommend it! It's wonderfully clean & private even if you may be sharing the compound with other people. I thought it might be weird having a family with 2 small children beside us & sharing the pool but it totally wasn't because of the way they set it up. The kitchen is well stocked with every thing u may need & then some. Love love those high countertops & the fridge that pumps out ice and water. Compound has nice spacious bedrooms with AC, bathrooms & lounge areas. Security is top notch including @safe so you don't have to worry about your stuff while u r away exploring the island. The host's Betty & Miles Gilreath were like no other, they answered all questions within minutes of calling. They made us feel like family & I miss them already ..HUGZ from the tundra U2. Isabel is within walking distance & it's well worth the walk. "Must do's" in Isabel are wings@ Al's Mar Azul bar washed down with pain killers & go early to get seats to the best sunset your retinas have ever experienced. Across the street is Cafe Mamasonga best burgers & coconut shrimp. It's a Mexican party in your mouth @ Couqui Fire & u MUST buy their sauce to take home, I've never tasted anything so good & am going to have to do an online order as we r smokin through the sauces we brought home. Reservations a must! Can't say enough about Sea Gate horse riding, they make sure u r comfortable with the horse u r riding b4 going anywhere on the most beautiful ride around the island for 2 hrs. Thanks Josh especially for telling us the history of the island!! Abe's does some yumE mangrove kayaking tours. In Esperanza eat breakfast @Belly Buttons & if feeding the rooster watch your fingers lol. Later in the day stop by Lucky 1 signs & biz partner "Mr Ron" for some one of a kind artistic take home island souvenirs. I can't wait to get back to this island and the compound!! Literally the vacay of a lifetime

Beautiful Setting

4 of 5
Four and one-half (4-1/2) stars!! Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had spectacular weather the week we were there. The home is clean and well maintained. The back patio is the perfect place to enjoy the ocean view. We loved the location because it was away from the congestion of downtown, but not far enough to deter trips to town. The beach close to the house was not accessible when we were visiting and the ocean was too choppy to take the small inflatable. We tried Yamacraw Beach one day and enjoyed it--it is close and lightly populated. Once we tried Cabbage Beach, though, didn’t want to go anywhere else. The beach and water at Cabbage Beach are phenomenal and it is not too crowded in the middle of the week. We absolutely loved Cafe Matisse--great food, service and ambiance. We also enjoyed the Green Parrot for very casual. Solomon's was hands-down our grocery store of choice. With a 7 month old, we did a fair amount of cooking and were able to find good selections there. Car rental was a must for us although my daughter and her husband went to dinner one night via taxi and that worked well. Our only slight disappointment were the beds--other than the master bedroom bed which was very comfortable. Adding mattress toppers would be an easy, relatively inexpensive improvement. This is a wonderful home and the owners are exceptionally responsive and accommodating.
