Villa Tropica

The pictures do not do this home justice. It is beautiful and very comfortable. We were a group of 6 adults and a 1.5 year old. We had tons of space and our two week stay was fantastic. The owners and property manager were very helpful and always quick to get back to us. The property is clean, private and quiet. Leeward Beach is a couple of blocks away and worth the walk! It was even more beautiful than Grace Bay where the hotels and resorts are located. A car is necessary if staying here as groceries and restaurants are a couple of miles away. I would definitely recommend this home to friends and family. The only downside to staying here was there were ants...just be sure to put everything sealed away or in the fridge and they won't bother you. Turks and Caicos is pricey...however there are NO crowds, nobody selling things on the beach and the beaches are the most beautiful I've seen. With next to no one on them.

Amazing view, convenient location!

Great location for relaxed beach vacation or the hustle and bustle of downtown! Grocery stores are a short walk or bus ride. Pool deck is a great place for lounging and soaking in the turquoise water. The owner and groundskeeper of the property are easily accessible if you need anything. Sandyport beach area is just a 5 minute walk. Take the jitney bus towards downtown to the fish fry for lunch or early dinner. Definitely do not need a car. Jitney bus will take you anywhere for $1.50 per trip. We loved Caprice and hope to return again in the future!

Amazing vacation!

5 of 5
We spent 10 glorious days in Anguilla at Moonraker. This was our fifth year visiting Anguilla at this time of year, our first visit to Moonraker.Wow, if possible the house is more amazing than it appears online. The house was immaculate and as you can see online, very spacious. We were 2 couples traveling together. We were supposed to be three couples, but one couple had to back out. We were worried that the home was going to be overwhelming size wise for just 2 couples, it was not.The lay out of the house is great.Enough space and privacy for everyone, but still with intimate spaces to all be together. The kitchen is a cooks dream. We ate in 8 nights out of the 10 we were there. Great grille right out side the kitchen. This year we finally found local seafood.Close to the house, in Island Harbor, we found a local lobsterman and purchased some Caribbean lobsters from him and cooked them at the house on the grille, amazing! Fresh local lobster sitting on that beautiful pool patio dining by candle light under the stars, doesn't get much better than that! The pool is the most spectacular pool I have ever seen at any private home, and at most hotels. So many nice features.I spent many days lying on a pool mat floating around that huge pool.Whether you wanted to be in the sun or shade, both were possible. The pool furniture was extremely comfortable, loungers, chairs and couches. Day or night it was so relaxing sitting by the pool, with the cool breeze and the sound of the ocean waves.I even slept outside one night in a lounger under the stars, so beautiful. (My husband thought I was crazy ;-)). No air conditioning needed, even though the house is fully air conditioned, the cool breezes and the sound of the waves could be heard and felt in all the bedrooms, doors wide open all night. The bedrooms were all fantastic. We had the master suite on the first floor, absolutely huge.Very comfortable bed and gorgeous bathroom. The home was in a great location. Quiet neighborhood, great place to go walking or running.Very close to the water, rocky shoreline, but fun to walk to Savannah Bay. Only a short 8 minute drive to Shoal Bay East, our favorite beach. Great new pizza restaurant, Artisian, in Island Harbor.Small open air place with great pizza and wine.Try the homemade ice cream, delicious. Paul, the owner, was extremely responsive and helpful, very kind.Georgia, the housekeeper, was a dream. So sweet and kind.Loved chatting with her everyday. Can't wait to go back!!!
