MOST AMAZING PLACE! A REAL TREASURE!

5 of 5
I arranged a gathering for a family member's 60th birthday and since the group (all 16 of us) could only get away the Easter weekend, we were at Villa Ranch Sutton from Friday, April 3rd to Monday, April 6th. WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE! Even with the large group (which included 4 small children), we had to go looking for people when we wanted to get together. The house is so large that there is room for everyone to get tucked away to read, play games or do whatever they like. The swimming pool was a great hit with the kids and adults alike, as was the hot tub. With two dining rooms (one large enough to hold everyone), we were able to have the birthday and Easter celebrations in luxury and with everyone sitting down at the same table. Then there was the kitchen. It is fully loaded with everything you could want. Our diverse family (Jamaican, Trinidadian, Sri Lankan and Canadian) loves to cook and eat. Well, that was no problem in that kitchen. It held the multitude of food we brought and there was ample space for preparing it. I could not recommend this place more. We definitely plan on returning (hopefully for the next two years). Oh, last (but not least) we booked massages. Two registered therapists came onsite and the massages took place in our rooms. How can you beat that? We felt like royalty! I also want to say thank you to Joseph who is a very kind and accommodating person. You have a fantastic home! We had a wonderful time!

Amazing house, lovely hosts, great views.

5 of 5
Hi, I was with a group of five adults traveling from the Lake Tahoe area for the Quebec Master Winter World Games. Although our venue, Val Cartier, was a bit of a drive from this house we chose to stay here and we are grateful that we did. The house is well appointed, warm and lovely. The views are amazing. We never tired of watching the ice flow up and down the river and the setting is very private. My group loved it and I am now deemed the house finder. Hope I can live up to that in the future! The kitchen is well appointed and there are four separate bedrooms which worked really well for our particular group. It was easy to gather round the big screen tv and watch events together and really nice for the couple of people that were working too, as one took a living room chair, one took the upstairs office and one of us worked from the dining room table while one took the kitchen island. It was just so comfortable. We would come back here in a heart beat. It's a quick dash to Quebec downtown but we liked coming back to our own little piece of woods and views. Genette and David are lovely hosts. Super friendly, yet non-obtrusive, but there for help if needed......just the best. You won't regret renting this house.

We enjoyed this spacious, family home

4 of 5
For the Canada Day long weekend, we opted for the Seascape Retreat near Whitepoint Resort. The house is nice. It is spacious and well-maintained by the owners. It is also extremely private as there are no visible or audible neighbours, which makes for a pleasant, relaxing stay. We were two families sharing this home, which meant that there were two toddlers (18 months) running around. Thankfully, the owners have put up a gate to the downstairs portion of the home so we were able to relax knowing they wouldn't fall down a flight of stairs. As far as I know, there wasn't a highchair or playpen available (to be honest, I can't remember if I even asked as we always bring our own travel playpen and highchair with us). We never met the owners because we made other arrangements for picking up the keys but they were quick to respond to e-mails so that wasn't an issue for us. In terms of activities nearby, there is Whitepoint resort, which is a lot of fun for families. You can buy a day pass for $9 and it gives you access to all of the facilities and events going on. We also visited the quaint town of Liverpool, which is about a 10-15 minute drive away. There are a handful of cute shops and cafes and, of course, beautiful homes that will take your breath away. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to "get away from it all" and breath in the crisp, ocean air.
