Tough to Please Everyone, but this Property Did!

5 of 5
After reading the reviews our expectations were high... and yet were totally surpassed by Joseph. From the moment our sixteen-strong party booked, Joseph was incredibly helpful. There was more than enough room for everyone. Rare to find both a room and dining table large enough to seat 18-20. Really liked the heated bathroom and kitchen floors especially on those nights when the temperature dipped to -17 F degrees, everything was warm and toasty inside. Beautiful, cosy bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. Indoor pool and outdoor hot tub were amazing, with Open log fires adding to the ambience after a hard day of skiing. Mt Sutton was only 15 minutes away and offered great discounts on lifts during the week, from beginners to seasoned experts, everyone was very satisfied after their days on the slopes relaxing and fun time. Jay Peak was only 45 minutes away where we both skied and used the Pump House (Indoor waterpark) The owner Joseph was very accommodating whenever we needed anything. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Town of Sutton was very nice. Great restaurants and shops. We even got to go "curling" at the Sutton Curling Club, knocking one item off our bucket list.

Amazing house, lovely hosts, great views.

5 of 5
Hi, I was with a group of five adults traveling from the Lake Tahoe area for the Quebec Master Winter World Games. Although our venue, Val Cartier, was a bit of a drive from this house we chose to stay here and we are grateful that we did. The house is well appointed, warm and lovely. The views are amazing. We never tired of watching the ice flow up and down the river and the setting is very private. My group loved it and I am now deemed the house finder. Hope I can live up to that in the future! The kitchen is well appointed and there are four separate bedrooms which worked really well for our particular group. It was easy to gather round the big screen tv and watch events together and really nice for the couple of people that were working too, as one took a living room chair, one took the upstairs office and one of us worked from the dining room table while one took the kitchen island. It was just so comfortable. We would come back here in a heart beat. It's a quick dash to Quebec downtown but we liked coming back to our own little piece of woods and views. Genette and David are lovely hosts. Super friendly, yet non-obtrusive, but there for help if needed......just the best. You won't regret renting this house.

We enjoyed this spacious, family home

4 of 5
For the Canada Day long weekend, we opted for the Seascape Retreat near Whitepoint Resort. The house is nice. It is spacious and well-maintained by the owners. It is also extremely private as there are no visible or audible neighbours, which makes for a pleasant, relaxing stay. We were two families sharing this home, which meant that there were two toddlers (18 months) running around. Thankfully, the owners have put up a gate to the downstairs portion of the home so we were able to relax knowing they wouldn't fall down a flight of stairs. As far as I know, there wasn't a highchair or playpen available (to be honest, I can't remember if I even asked as we always bring our own travel playpen and highchair with us). We never met the owners because we made other arrangements for picking up the keys but they were quick to respond to e-mails so that wasn't an issue for us. In terms of activities nearby, there is Whitepoint resort, which is a lot of fun for families. You can buy a day pass for $9 and it gives you access to all of the facilities and events going on. We also visited the quaint town of Liverpool, which is about a 10-15 minute drive away. There are a handful of cute shops and cafes and, of course, beautiful homes that will take your breath away. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to "get away from it all" and breath in the crisp, ocean air.
