Everything you need for a LOVELY vacation!

5 of 5
Our family of five (two adults, 3 children ages 12, 10, and 9) very much enjoyed this lovely property! The apartment is as bright and clean as the photos show. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to prepare, serve, and enjoy your meals. The beds, linens, and pillows are very comfortable and we all slept well. The small room off the dining area has floor-to-ceiling windows with shades for privacy/darkness while sleeping if you choose to sleep in the room (including shades to the inside of the apartment). The best part, though, is the view out of the living room windows--a beautiful view of False Creek and little David Lam Park below. We spent lots of time near the windows! The nearby area offers lots of dining options, a very nice market for groceries, and a short walk to the subway, water taxis, and BC place. One thing we loved about the location is that we parked our car in the provided spot and didn't move it until check out. We only had one problem and when I called Art to inquire, he immediately answered my call and helped me solve our problem--even offering to come and help us at the apartment (our problem--accessing the pool--just turn the key farther than you think it should go and the door opens right up!) Art was also more than gracious with our much later than anticipated arrival (we got stuck in rush hour traffic...) This apartment offers absolutely everything you could possibly need--both inside and in the area! We will definitely rent this property again if we head to Vancouver!

Fabulous

5 of 5
We stayed in this fabulous condo for a week while traveling to Vancouver to participate in the Rock and Roll half marathon. We arrived on a rainy evening and Art welcomed us and made us feel right at home. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere because the condo is centrally located to everywhere a tourist would need to go. Walking distance to the ferry to Granville Island, the subway to downtown, restaurants in Yaletown, a wonderful market and Starbucks. It is located in a very safe area. The condo is clean and comfortable with every amenity you may need. I will definitely recommend this condo to anyone traveling to the area and plan to make a stay here a yearly tradition. It is also a short subway ride to a wonderful casino which made for a fun afternoon. An absolutely stellar place to stay and wonderful hosts!!! I was initially leery of the safety of using public transportation and walking around the city as we were three women traveling but I felt safe everywhere I went and absolutely loved everything about the city.

Breathtaking Cape Breton

5 of 5
The Potter's Cottage in the Margaree Valley on Cape Breton Island is a wonderful respite on a magical isle. The cottage is immaculate with a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, down comforters and located on a beautiful piece of property. After a day taking in the incredible scenery, coming "home" to the cottage is a relaxing end to the day. The cottage is just off the Cabot Trail and provides easy access for driving to all points of interest. Stewart provides excellent suggestions for daily itineraries. The Co-op and Petrol station are close by as well as the Dancing Goat for delicious breakfast, lunch and bakery items. Bell is the lovely co-owner and an extremely talented potter and artist. Her detailed black and white nature drawings enhance her graceful pottery. Bell and Stewart are gracious hosts and make you want to return.
