Great Calistoga hideaway

5 of 5
This is a well kept, old farmhouse. The two-bedroom property was perfect as a base for us (two couples) and our dogs. The property is secluded but as a result is some distance from Calistoga - about a 10-15 min drive. We organized a driver for wine tours and cooked at home after those tours which worked out very well for us. "Frank" came by to say hi the morning of our departure - an adorable albeit opinionated dachshund who 'runs' the cottages (you'll see his name on the sign out front). The owners also came by to say hi when they saw us outside and were wonderfully friendly, providing us with samples of their honey, which incidentally is amazing! We will be recommending this property to friends as a very affordable stay in the valley and will certainly use it again ourselves when we come back.

Pre-honeymoon delight

5 of 5
My new wife and I had a wonderful experience. We came here right after our wedding to unwind. The lovely garden, pool, fire pit, vineyards, and comfortable studio allowed us to do just that. J & D were very hospitable and went the extra mile. We hope to go back soon and will recommend to anyone looking for somewhere special to relax. They plan to release a new wine in a couple months and we hope to get a taste!

Beyond Expectations

5 of 5
As I told the lovely, helpful owner, Sally, her divine home pleased our entire group which included a one year old, a four year old, those in their 30's and those in their 60's. The house is beautiful and comfortable with attractive bedrooms, fabulous bathrooms and an amazing kitchen. It was wonderful to eat outside or inside. As for the view of the vineyards, it could only be described as breathtaking. Sally's house made this a perfect vacation. It is far more beautiful than the website and Sally was constantly available. We would definitely recommend this property !!!
