Perfect spot!

4 of 5
We celebrated a fun girl's weekend at this house. It was a great spot to call home for a few days. Perfect setting in the vineyard. Lisa (the home owner) was very easy to work with and everything was as she said it would be. I would recommend that everyone stay in the main house. The guest house is not as nice.

Our week in Paradise!

5 of 5
We had seen Maison des Oliviers on this site at least 6 months ago and fell in love with the pictures, but they were listed as a monthly rental only... Persistence pays off and was sooooo worth it!! This house goes beyond what the pictures show.. It was perfect!! Decorated beautifully, an amazing pool and patio area, and you're surrounded by Cabernet vineyards.. The master suite is heaven!! Big comfortable bed, enormous bathroom and the views....wow... The house is 5 mins. from downtown Napa and there's a Trader Joes and Whole Foods close too. Wineries are a stones throw, but you'll wanna pick up some wine and some steaks, go home and throw them on the grill and relax in your hot tub and sip some wine while you watch the sun set over Mount Helena.. And the property owner is the nicest guy!! And he has his own winery too, Eleven Eleven, damn good Chardonnay!! It was our first time at this house and we will be back!!

Great Location, Great Cottage

4 of 5
Our stay couldn't have been more wonderful. We arrived late Friday night, and the twisting winding roads made us wonder what the view would be like in the morning. We awoke to wonderful views of the trees and countryside. There were coffee beans ready for us, so the morning started without too much trouble and quickly we were able to find directions to the nearest breakfast joint, all of a 10 minute drive into the town of Calistoga. We had our baby with us and there is a large oak tree with a swing that we both sat in over the course of the weekend. We strolled around the property, amazed at the fog (fog doesn't happen in Colorado). The beds were comfortable the dining table was great for the breakfasts that we cooked (ample cooking utensils, pots, pans and bowls were provided). The cottage was clean, and sufficiently furnished with generous amenities. There were plenty of leaflets on local attractions in the cottage so finding our way around and to the wineries and towns was very easy. The cottage has internet access with an unnecessarily long password. Unfortunately connection didn't happen for those of us using our handheld iDevices, but on the laptop it came through fine.
