Great Location, Great Property!

5 of 5
This property really is in a prime location next to good shopping and great food. The inside looks just like it does in the photos and we were not disappointed one bit. The building is a bit older, but has been fixed up very nicely. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us and we were very comfortable the entire time. The furniture and accessories were perfect for this space, kudos to the designer! It had pretty much everything we needed for our trip. The front bathroom/shower was a bit small, but served it's purpose. The second bathroom is huge and makes up for the smaller one. The floors are a bit creaky, but not too annoying. The beds and bedding were comfortable and we slept great. Plenty of lighting both at night and during the day with the windows open. Overall we loved the place! A word of caution, as stated above, the building is older, so sound does travel through the walls and ceiling/floors. We arrived in LA a little late on Friday night and were excited to be there, so we stayed up late in the dining room/kitchen area talking, telling stories and getting a little noisy. Unfortunately, our neighbors above heard us. We also had a parking issue because we rented a second space and when we arrived the neighbors above parked where we were instructed to park. It was late, so I just parked behind them, which didn't seem like it would be an issue since my car wasn't blocking the street. Sharlotte came by the next morning to discuss both issues and made it very clear that we had to be quieter or we would have to find somewhere else to stay. She moved our neighbor's car to their designated spot, and parking was not an issue the rest of our trip. She said I could have received a ticket for the way I parked since I was blocking the sidewalk, but luckily I didn't. After that, we didn't hear from Sharlotte again. At first she was very upset about those issues (particularly us being too noisy), but after talking to her, she was very pleasant and we shared a couple laughs before she left. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, but do make sure you are mindful of your volume.

Terrific hideaway!

5 of 5
My wife and I drove down from Portland, Oregon to spend a few days in Los Angeles, where we lived for many years. On the way to Palm Desert we spent a few days in Bungalow 1; one month later on the way home we checked into Bungalow 2. Both are extremely charming, comfortable and located on a quiet street just minutes from West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, etc. Each bungalow is VERY VERY CLEAN, kitchens, living room, dining room, bathroom and 2 bedrooms are equipped with most of the comforts you will have at home. Far better than a hotel--more room and privacy. The pictures on the site are perfect. Finally, our host, Joe, made sure we were comfortable and was always available if needed. We will be back!

Pure Luxury

5 of 5
Words cannot describe how fabulous this home is. There are views in every direction and we felt on top of the world staying at this incredible home. I am a very particular person and this home truly exceeded my expectations. Sitting in the jacuzzi looking out over the city each night, Ill never forget my magical experience at this home. We loved the movie theater and with a large family we each had plenty of space in this very large home. It truly was an experience to remember.
