GREAT COTTAGE!

5 of 5
My husband and I just spent a week in this wonderful cottage. You could not beat the location…….just a few houses from the beach. The cottage was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The kitchen looked recently updated with stainless steel appliances and had plenty of granite counter space. In addition to the dining table which seated 6, there were 3 bar stools along the kitchen counter. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. We loved the layout of the kitchen, dining area, and family room – it was open concept and the large windows along the back of the house allowed for plenty of light. There’s a large patio out back with a table and chairs along with a grill which we used one night. There was ample closet space in both bedrooms and I appreciated the extra hangers. The bathroom, although not large in square footage, had a big vanity for personal belongings. The Pierpont area is about 3 miles from downtown Ventura and parking is no issue around Main Street. Downtown has plenty of restaurants to choose from; we enjoyed Lure Fish House and Paradise Pantry. In addition to biking, surfing, and beaching, there is a fantastic yoga studio in town called Jai Rhythm Yoga. The energy was great as well as the teachers; guaranteed you will get a great workout. We would not hesitate to stay in this cottage again. The owner, Leslie, was easy to work with and responsive.

PERFECT WEEKEND GETAWAY!

5 of 5
Couldn't be more pleased with this rental. Some friends and I came up to Ventura for Mountains2Beach marathon weekend and decided to rent a house because we did not know at the time how many we would have and wanted something more personal and relaxing than multiple hotel rooms. Was a little concerned about the size of the house from the photos, but it was perfect! We were only planning to have four adults, but had two join us at the last minute, and the house was sized just right! The outdoor space is a great amenity to have and is so private, despite taller buildings on either side, due to the lush landscaping. The location of the house was great! Fourth house from the beach but, as a friend noted, it's even closer than that because the lots are so narrow. You can easily walk to the restaurants and grocery a few blocks away. If you don't mind going a mile or two, walking to the village areas either on the road or beach was also easy. If you don't want to walk, the bikes were a great feature to use! The beach itself is wonderful. Quiet and very laid back. Perfect for families as well as a group of young people like ourselves. Great boogie boarding waves and lots of wildlife. Because we were planning on doing most of our dining at home, the well-appointed kitchen was a great feature. We barbecued and also used the oven and stove a lot. We were able to find everything we needed at the house and only had to bring food! Really could not recommend this home more highly. My only complaint was that we had to leave and say goodbye to our perfect weekend!
