I booked a 5 night stay at this property for myself, my boyfriend, and my parents were in town from Indiana. It was Spring Break week and as a full disclaimer, I had tried to request 4 or 5 other similar properties before deciding on this one. This property was chosen solely for availability and location. As with most beachy rentals, what it lacks in basically everything else (amenities, comfort, etc) - it makes up for in proximity to the beach. The beach is a short walk, and an even shorter bike ride from this property. 4 beach cruisers are available for use, although every single one of them as expected needed a good tire air-up before departure.
PROS: parking for 1 maybe 2 small cars in the back, hot tub, 4 bath towels and 2 beach towels available, 4 beach cruisers available, walkability score = 85/100, loved the french doors in the living room that lead to the backyard - gave it a very open and airy feel during the day.
CONS: bathrooms are similar to public bathrooms with concrete showers/flooring and the guest bedroom has no toiletries or a window - both bathrooms stayed consistently damp due to poor ventilation, 1 small trash bag was available for use and the trash bins in the back where the parking is were completely full with existing trash, no kitchen table, and kitchen faucet is kind of broken.
Overall, I give this place a 4/5. I'm an interior designer, so naturally I was SHOCKED that this place has 0 attempts at decorating - there is an undersized rug in the living room and thats about it. It would feel a lot comfier and welcome with a slight decorating touch. The beds were a bit firm for my liking, but to each their own. This is the best spot if you're looking to kick it at the beach mostly, and need somewhere cool to chill out at afterwards.
