Amazing "tree house" on the river!

5 of 5
Thank you Chris for sharing your exceptional home with us and the Bow Wows. From the moment we arrived and Fred welcomed us, the transformation began. Before we descended the stairs we could hear the sound of rushing water and the anticipation of something wonderful waiting below did not disappoint. I had read the complimentary reviews before we arrived but no one could describe your retreat beffitingly. The setting on the river, the feng shui of the house, the perfect weather all combined to fulfill the soul. We live at the ocean and that too has wonderful qualities, but we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful oasis you have created in Three Rivers. We thank you for sharing and our puppies thank you for the BEST vacation ever! We don't want to leave but just the thought of returning makes it easier. We are hoping to do just that this coming fall AND next spring.

Beautiful vistas! Wonderful accommodation!

5 of 5
Lovely cabin right inside the park and close to many hiking trails (10 min. drive). Cabin is small as described but plenty of room to be comfortable with a fully equipped, modern kitchen. We shopped for all of our food in Visalia beforehand, which has a Save Mart and a Walmart. Small town of Three Rivers is very expensive for groceries and does not offer much of a selection. We used the gas grill to cook dinner and it worked great. There is also a charcoal grill. Very clean. Three of us stayed here and only used the bedroom bed and the living room futon as a bed. Did not use the loft beds. We ate all of our meals outside on the porch and spent most of the night star-gazing on a blanket! Awoke to beautiful vistas watching the sunrise over the endless mountain tops! Plenty of movies to watch on the flat screen tv, but why bother. We spent the whole time outside. Weather was great! Just a light hoodie needed in the evening at this time of year. Several nearby hikes of various difficulties are nearby and we enjoyed these. Drove up to General Sherman (45 min) and enjoyed the majestic Giant Forest at 6000 feet. Mr. Jin communicated with us quickly before and after check-in with answers to any questions we had. We took our own linens and our deposit was refunded the day after check-out. Overall a wonderful place to stay with a small family or couple.

Beautiful retreat!

5 of 5
My husband, daughter and I stayed at BeeGreen Farms for three days in November. We would have stayed for three weeks if we could have! We arrived to the smell of freshly made cookies, which Bettina had baked in honor of my daughters recent birthday (such a warm and wonderful welcome). We then proceeded to explore the house and grounds and were completely blown away by what we found. The house is so thoughtfully curated with art and unique vintage pieces. It is spacious, immaculately kept and comfortable. Everything that you could possibly need has been provided for (from throw blankets, to movies and music, to kitchen supplies). Then there are the grounds... we walked out through the lovely back porch to discover a babbling stream surrounded by vibrant green moss and grass. The pond at the front of the property is spectacular and provides the most beautiful reflections at sunrise and sunset. My husband and daughter took the raft out on it early one morning and had a wonderful adventure. Many of the trees surrounding the house were changing colors and were covered in brilliant yellow and orange leaves. The organic garden (even in November) was incredible with profusions of zinnia's, tomatoes, onions and a variety of herbs. Bettina encouraged us to pick freely from the garden and brought a bouquet of the zinnia's to us one evening. The property goes a ways up the back hill and there is a spectacular view from the top. Bettina's dog Buddy joined us on some of our walks around the property and is such a sweet and gentle soul. My daughter loved spending time with him. The horse, donkeys and rooster were so much fun as well! We made day trips into Sequoia National Park every day and found the location of the house to be very convenient. My daughter still talks about our stay and asks when we are going to return. It was a really special experience. I truly cannot recommend it highly enough!
