Wonderful stay in beautiful neighborhood

5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful Presidio flat. The apartment was large with great size rooms. We appreciated having a washer & dryer and all of the amenities needed for a great stay. The neighborhood market was in close walking distance, as were some excellent bars (we really liked The Final Final). The bus was only about a block or 2 walk and we opted to buy 3-day bus passes at the nearby Walgreens so we didn't have to drive in the city. You can get anywhere on the bus system of San Fran. Joshua was easy to get hold of when I had questions and was so kind as to arrange for us to get a street parking pass for the days we stayed. He was very helpful for anything we needed. Even though the weather was a bit cold during our stay (mid 50s---remember, we are from Florida so 70 is cold to us), we really loved spending time up on the rooftop deck enjoying some of the wonderful wines of Napa. We took a hop-on-hop-off bus tour of the city which, along with Alcatraz tour, was a highlight. Don't miss out on Mexican in the Mission district or a Irish Coffee at Buena Vista Café in Ghirardelli. Loved the trip...loved the apartment. Many thanks Joshua!!! We hope to return to your beautiful city soon and will definitely stay in the Sunny Flat!

Sweet

5 of 5
If you'd like a clean, cozy, classic San Franciscio studio convenient to public transportation, near fine dining options, in walking distance to parks and interesting city neighborhoods, you'd be happy with Laurence and Nick's pretty Victorian home. After good morning coffee, we ran the surrounding hills or practiced yoga at the nearby Yoga Tree studio. Plenty of information about the sites and sounds of the city is provided to help you plan splendid days. Our value of a retraurant or home away from Denver is whether we would return. We will be delighted to return to this sweet studio.

Sleek and Comfortable

5 of 5
We (a family of 4 with 2 children aged under 13) stayed here for 3 nights. We arrived very late the first night but entry was very easy - I loved not having to worry about carrying keys around. The apartment was crisp and clean upon arrival. Everything worked. The lighting fixtures took some getting used to but our 9 year old got the hang of it pretty quickly. Our kids fought over the second bedroom but the "den" was cozy and suited the one who ended up in there. The kitchen and bathroom decor and fixtures were not only beautiful but very functional. The kitchen included all necessary utensils and cookware as well a few things like tea, sugar, sugar substitutes, paper towels and napkins. We stocked the fridge with groceries purchased from a supermarket barely 2 blocks away. The freezer was a little hard to get into but there was not much reason to go in there during our stay. There is a small "deck" or "courtyard." I used quotes because it's really neither of those but it is an outside, open air, space with a table and 4 chairs that was nice in the mornings with breakfast. The neighborhood is great. Quiet, safe, quaint, close to MUNI and food and other services. Although we could've parked on the property (with an added fee) I opted to take my chances on the street and spent no more than 5 minutes looking for nearby parking. The owner even made suggestions for streets to look on - he was spot on. We would absolutely return to the apartment and recommend it to all!
