VIP Accommodations and Stunning Views

5 of 5
This penthouse could be the perfect launching pad for your personal San Francisco story/romance. You see the Golden Gate Bridge, spires of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul and the San Francisco Bay through sparkling clean, wall to wall picture windows. The same view at night takes your breath away. I want to move in and stay forever. Located in a lovely, 1930’s era building; the thoroughly modern interior is appropriate for a comfortable family reunion or corporate event. If you are in town for a convention or media shoot, this penthouse will serve as a perfect VIP accommodation. I appreciated the attention to detail, down to the key-less entry. I saved so much time not looking for keys every time I left and returned. North Beach, down the street is one of the nicest SF neighborhoods and I enjoyed wondering around, finding places that aren't in the guidebooks. I spent a lot of time on the roof, taking pictures of the roofs below and the wild parrots that fly around the neighborhood. I've written a longer review starting on page 58 in the January 2015 issue of Vacation Rental Travels (http://vacationrentaltravels.com/2014-winter)and more on my blog: http://adventuringwomen.com/san-francisco/ which I'll update regularly.

Totally Perfect!

5 of 5
We had to book a stay last minute and Josh was more then accommodating! Very safe, quite and large. We spent a ton of time drinking coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon on the amazing rooftop deck, with a view of the Golden Gate. Great location too!

Comfy, Cozy and Clean!

5 of 5
Kate was very personable and offers great place to rent in an expensive city. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped with a toaster, coffee maker, full size stove and fridge. The couch was large and comfortable and the bathroom has a large shower with lots of linens provided. Access to a laundry machine was indispensable especially travelling with kids. Kate was kind enough to let us borrow some Thomas toys and my son was in heaven (which also gave his parents lots of relaxation time!). Some travel tips: Target and Trader Joes is about 3 blocks away. Bus #31 goes straight downtown, it's a bit bumpy and gets slow as it nears town (stopping every block to pick up people) but convenient nonetheless. Haughty/Ashbury area is about 10 blocks or take #43. Great brunch places a few blocks up from Haight (just stay on #43 when it turns onto Cole). This is also the bus to take if you are using the Big Bus and want to get picked up (the Haight stop is a popular one so even if the Big Bus is busy, you can get on). #43 will also take you to the Golden Gate park near the awesome children's playground/carousel and there's a Whole Foods on the corner. Walking to the park is ~25 mins. Lastly, no stairs to contend with in this ground floor suite is nice, we did enough walking of hills each day out :).
