We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at telegraph penthouse, you absolutely can't find a better value in a prettier place with such a great location. Our family of five, including our 18, 13 and 11 year old kids, had more than enough room for relaxing and enjoying our downtime. We really liked being able to make breakfast in the apartment before we went out and even made a dinner in after one long day. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and clean up. We picked up detergent at Safeway (which has free parking early am and late PM on the street) also and took advantage of the washer and dryer (a major plus for us). Being a healthy and active group, we opted to walk most places including AT&T park and fisherman's wharf. We decided to keep a car and parked in the recommended lot (it is machine attended off hours and worked fine) and did manage some free overnight street parking a couple times with some effort. We really liked having a car for our Golden Gate Bridge and Sausalito visit, but it's personal preference weighing parking hassle and cost vs. what you save on airport shuttle, etc. We did the Filbert Steps to visit Coit Tower and then Vallejo Steps to earn our dessert. I loved the sheets and towels which were plush and plentiful, the apartment was very clean, beds really comfortable and the view of the Bay Bridge was especially nice (I had my evening glass of wine watching the bridge each night). I was worried about keeping the noise down on the wood floors and stairs because of a prior review, but we managed without any problem - even with our teenaged boys. The welcome snacks and cold waters were much appreciated and we had no problem following the instructions provided. Everything in the apartment worked and was in great shape, it is clear that significant investment was made remodeling, updating and decorating. It is also very well located with great views, walking distance to anything you need or want. I recommend the apartment highly and hope to visit again someday, thank you for everything Richard!
