Gorgeous and unique

5 of 5
We loved our stay at this home. The house itself is beautiful, very unique in its design. And we could not stop gazing at the view. It is stunning. The location is perfect, right next to both Montara Beach, a beautiful cove beach, and a great restaurant. Despite being so close to civilization, you feel a hundred miles away once you enter the property, which is extremely large and very quiet. The house was perfectly clean and the owners very nice. I am so thankful they share this house because despite being from the area, I've never encountered anything so beautiful on the coast. We will definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later.

Great California-style ocean view house

5 of 5
Fantastic California Coast location right by San Francisco! Super convenient location and large house with great architecture. We spent a lot of time on the front deck watching the waves rolling into the beach. House is very light and airy. Casual "livable" feel. Windows everywhere but still private because of the setting. Lots of little "bonus" rooms, and two large public gathering areas as well. The main very large living-dining area in the pictures, plus a large family room with second kitchen at the other end of the house. Trees and views in literally every direction add to the appeal.

Felt like a film star

A superb experience. We are property owners ourselves and have rented privately several times. This property is AMAZING. The pictures don't do it justice. Sandra, the owner is so generous, we couldn't believe how many "extras" there were and the high spec finishes throughout made it truly special. And then there are the views. And I mean views, not view. The villa has been designed and built to take advantage of both incredible views of the city and the Golden Gate Bridge to the south and west, as well as delightful views over Tiburon harbour and north to Mount Tamalpais. This was definitely a place that was difficult to drag ourselves away from - even though the great ferry service to San Francisco was an short ride through the winding streets. Tiburon is a delightful little town too, with a nice selection of restaurants etc. Plan to spend a bit of time here. But plan to spend time at Via Golden Gate too - why leave when you have a truly luxurious and spectacular villa with those views? Can't recommend it highly enough. We'd love to return. Thanks for everything Sandra!
